Doesn’t work
I have reinstalled this app several times, updated my phone, tried other phones - always the same error. I reached out to support and was told “they are working on it”. It has been a week and the app still does not work.
Terrible
This is the worst app. After trying it on two different phones to get it working. It crashed and when I messaged support, I was told that they don’t know what’s wrong but it’s broken and to just try again in a couple days.
Trash App
I can confirm that going to the DMV is a more enjoyable process than trying to get this app to work. I have an iPhone 14pro and it is seems to not be compatible. Tried about 10 times to get the face recognition to work (blurry and won’t complete) and it takes the photo of your ID so quickly you have to redo that multiple times. Never got it to actually work.

Why is this even an option?
So so glitchy, times out after a few seconds and then says it doesn’t recognize the face and locks you out for 5 minutes. Kinda grateful we never got to even start the test because this thing is liable to have fxxked up enough times to make him fail.
Blurry camera
I have the new iPhone 15 with an excellent camera but the app makes it blurry. So the last step in registration when you connect the dots, I’m just a big blur. So then my face and ID photo can’t match up. Zero stars!

Here is some advice. DO NOT enter your child’s information in the app until you are ready for child to take test immediately.
I simply entered child’s info. I did NOT click or start a test or sample test. Later the same day I logged in so child could take test. Says “applicant is ineligible to take test. A waiting period of (24) hours from the previous test is required.” NEVER even started a test.
Is this the end of the world? NO, but this is a simple fix that they need to make on the app to not waste everyone’s time. Here is to hoping the app works tomorrow.

Beware of navigating to the Sample Test!
Beware…I downloaded this so that my son could take the test from home. It mentions that there is a sample test that can be taken, so we selected that option for him first thinking it was a practice test. Nope. After finding alternative practice tests online for him to practice, I logged back into the app to navigate him to the test page for him to take the actual exam. It now says he isn’t eligible to take it for 24 hours. So basically, they counted his Sample Test as an exam and failed him, even though he never actually selected the icon to take the actual exam. How dumb. By the way, the “Sample Exam” isn’t even a sample test, but one question to show you what the format of the test looks like. In this day and age, there really should be a better and more concise system in place.

Terrible App
I was able to take the pictures of my ID but the face scan didn’t work at all, and I tried 5 times. This is ridiculous.
The worst experience of my life
The set up on this app is absolutely infuriating it is so bad. Whoever designed this should never be allowed to use a computer or mobile device again. This makes me want to bring back public executions.
Unable to use
So, after downloading the app, I was proceeding through the sign up process. I tried to scan my id. The camera doesn’t connect to the app. So I contacted support, they told me there is a known issue with iPhone 12 and 13 cameras not being able to be used on the app. No word on if they are trying to fix this issue or not, just that they know there is an issue.
