Unable to use
So, after downloading the app, I was proceeding through the sign up process. I tried to scan my id. The camera doesn’t connect to the app. So I contacted support, they told me there is a known issue with iPhone 12 and 13 cameras not being able to be used on the app. No word on if they are trying to fix this issue or not, just that they know there is an issue.

It just doesn’t work
You can get all the way to the ID with no problems but once you get to the selfie you get stuck no matter what you do.

I know others have had issues with this app, but I downloaded this app to my iPhone yesterday, and it worked perfectly. My son completed the knowledge test online at home and passed the test. I received an email indicating he’d passed within three hours. This morning, I printed that email and took it along with the other required documents to the DMV. I’d already filled out his application online, so things went pretty smoothly for us. All he had to do was complete the eye exam at the DMV. Within an hour of arriving at the DMV, he had the paper copy of his learners permit in his hand. Getting things done ahead of our arrival was such a time saver.

Should get zero stars
This app raised my hopes that we could avoid a long drive a so much red tape. Instead I tried six times to get the selfie part to work. No help no success. This whole process is disappointing, except for the nice people at the dmv.

My tough nonemotional son is crying his eyes out because on his very last question, the proctor exam gave an error code and said the site was experiencing difficulties. He now has to start over and he is so overwhelmed he is crying. He studied so hard and would have passed. Just go in person. This app is too glitchy!!

We did have issues with this app at first, but all we did was contact customer support through live chat and they walk through the steps with us and I was able to complete my permit test and pass !! So

“The Tennessee Proctor ID app is unable to connect to the Tennessee Proctor ID system.” We get this error endlessly. Cannot even start the exam. Support is zero help.
