It Worked for Us
I loaded the app a few months ago. My daughter took her test today - it’s a snow day - and she passed it. Immediately after she passed it and I downloaded the results, I got the promised email with further information. We’ll go to get her drivers permit as soon as possible. I was nervous because of the other reviews, but it went as described on the state’s website. I have no complaints.
TIP: I noticed that the app wouldn’t acknowledge me when I changed the lighting in the room. When I turned the lights to bright, it wouldn’t recognize me. So, keep the lighting similar to when you first uploaded the app and did the face recognition. Keep it natural.

Camera blurry
Trying to sign in with face identification. Camera feed in app is blurry and won’t let me sign in. Camera on phone is fine and works with all other apps.

Worst Testing App Ever
I was a proctor for my brother and the website kicked him out mid test after he got 19 questions right. The test said that he failed the exam because the user “opened a new page. Which is not true because the laptop did not open any new pages or anything. Honestly this test is bugged. This problem needs to be fixed!

Terrible app
It doesn’t work and everybody knows it, including tech support. I couldn’t get it to capture the back of my DL. Apparently that’s common with recent model iPhones.
And the thing with folks not receiving emails sounds common also. When I was standing in line at the DMV (to have my son take the exam in person) a woman walked up to the greeter desk and told them that her some took the test online but never received an email. They had no resolution for her problem.
It’s such a ridiculous failure and I’m really floored that the government folks continue to direct folks to this app.
Just go to the DMV. At least most of the employees there were nice and knew how to do their job. Unlike this stupid app.

App is horrible
Trying to get verified so my daughter can take her test. Downloaded app and went through the entire setup process which requires facial recognition. After everything was said and done it won’t let me log in because it doesn’t recognize my face and keeps locking me out for 5 minutes at a time! This app shouldn’t even be used. The 2 star ratings tell you everything you need to know!

This app doesn’t work and the support is garbage. I reached out to the support team for assistance because I keep getting the same error and they want to blame it on the lightning. First they tell me it’s my ID and when they realized it was the correct ID they decided to blame it on the lighting and let’s not forget holding the phone. The tutorial tells you to hold the phone up to your face lol. Now they’re saying not to hold the phone and I still get the same error. I even added more light and got the same issue

Horrible App.
Why would a non working app be created? You aren’t able to go past the “sending you a link” operation of the app process. Horrible idea. Tennessee needs to remove this option immediately.
