Love this app but maybe a few changes

Today was the first day that I tried this app. I liked it for the most part and some benefits were that it tells you when to start running, and pushes you to work through it. My only concern is that it doesn’t tell you how much calories you burned and how far you went. If you are playing music, the sound does overlap so that you can pay attention and jam out. This is a really easy way to get fit and i think you should check it out!

Longest I’ve ever run!!

I’m not a runner, but took it up when I got laid off from work. At first it was hard but pushing my self to run 3 mins than walking and then 3 more minutes became a game. Now I’m on level 7, about to run my second 5k (turkey trot), and can run for 26 mins without stopping. I just wish at this level there was more stop and go to keep it interesting!!

Recommended to me

A friend recommended this app and I kept putting off trying it. In the meantime, I tried another run training app that I had previously purchased and it wasn’t working for me. I’ve tried this and I love it! I like the simplicity and the ability to listen to my own playlists while using the app. I would recommend it to others just like my friend did for me.

Too difficult

This is DEFINITELY not a couch to 5K. More like a “I’ve run before and trying to get back into it to 5K”. The second workout is alternating 2 min walking and 2 minutes running. If you’ve been sitting on the couch for 10 years, there’s no way you can run for 2 minutes straight. And there is no “jog”. It’s walk or run. I don’t like how the countdown is every 24 hours…..I always have to skip the countdown because I workout at the same time everyday. I love the idea of the app but I feel like it should have a different name because it’s definitely NOT for new runners

Thank you!

My experience getting out there and running again to be a part of a 10K with my daughter, which I will only run a 5K has been doable with your app. Thank you so much for creating this for everyone to benefit.!

A game changer!

The only thing that’s been able to inspire me to get back into running. I’m even looking forward to my sessions!

Going great! Finishing up level 3…

Hopefully I keep this up! It is going really well. I like the small progressions and run/walk style. I love listening to books and audible books while also getting the running app signals to run and walk. I was wondering if there is a summary of the program? When I complete level 8, will I be running 3.1 miles? How do I change the distance to kilometres? Right now it is in miles. Thanks!

Hi there, Thanks a lot for such a review! You're doing great, just keep going, we wish you good luck in your running journey and we're proud to be a part of it! As for your questions: - we show current summary in the bottom of the screen, all the workouts, best distance and total distance, you can find in in the Dashboard page; - yes, this is the main goal, after completing the program, you should feel confident to run 5K within one running session; - To change the distance to kilometres, please, go to the Settings -> Measurement system. Thanks a lot for using the app! Best regards, iRun team

Great!

I just started using this app, but so far i really like it. Clear directions and good communication! Easing me into fitness. Very doable even if you haven’t been active in a long time!

I hate running

It helps plan your workout so you don’t have to think about it, you just do it. Set a goal and you’re more likely to achieve it if you feel like someone is planning it for you
