Don’t bother
When using the old web app the Indra charger worked perfectly. It would take into account my energy tariffs and my car would always be fully charged for the time I had specified in the app, no matter how depleted the battery would be when I had plugged it in. This suggested to me the charger communicated with the car to get its battery level status so it knew when it needed to start charging in order for it to be full when it was due to stop.
After downloading this app, it forced an firmware update to the charger. The firmware update has essentially made the charger dumb. It no longer takes into account energy tariffs, although it is aware of them. It decides if it wants to charge or just fail. If it does listen to the configured schedules then it will only charge between the hours set to start and stop, regardless of how much you car has charged in that period (unless it’s full then it will stop). So in the morning it’s a gamble as to whether the battery will be full, nearly full or almost empty and didn’t bother charging.
In summary, don’t bother with this app. Stick with the web app.

Response from developer
We're sorry to hear that you've experienced issues with the Indra App. The Indra App does work with all EV tariffs and can be used to schedule a charge by kWh, mileage or £. We really hope everything has now been sorted but if you are still having issues, please can you contact us directly at support@indra.co.uk and we'd be more than happy to help. Thank you.
Promising app but not quite there
The developers have done a great job in producing this feature-packed app. There are so many good features such as the ability to switch off the charger remotely. I used to wonder if anyone was using my charger when I was away. However there is something fundamental with how it gathers charging data. The amount of charge is not shown in realtime, with the data appearing a few hours or days later or perhaps not at all. When charging you want to see this data as it's charging. There is one wheel that spins when charging but the rate shown is 0 when it's quite clearly charging. I don't know how it treats solar power but it's definitely not how you'd expect. I really welcome this app and thank the developers, who need more realworld feedback as this has the potential to be a 5* app!
