  • Something different, so simple and makes total sense!

Really loving the app so far, they’ve simplified it so well and it all makes sense. Very impressed thus far!!
  • Finally what I needed

For me a whole new approach to a “healthier” body. What I didn’t know was how much I needed to change my mindset and how I truly felt about my body. This app guides you through that and in such a gentle positive way. Can’t wait to continue my journey on this app.

Hi TeriKay! Love hearing this! We worked really hard on the new version to make it easy to enjoy and bring the goodness of all Way Sessions to life. Great hearing you're loving it and hope it continues to help you on your journey!
  • App stopped loading new content

I was excited to try this app and signed up for the free trial. After about ten days, I had completed the sessions in the first three pathways that it assigned me, but no new content was available after that. After a few days of checking with no further updates, I finally just canceled the trial.

Hello! Thanks so much for writing in. Sounds like you had a great experience and simply got to the end of sessions in time? Love that you dove in! So, the first part is to understand your path and what you’re really wanting to get out of Way, how long it took you to do those sessions, because it looks like you did all of them really quick! The “happy path” for Way is to do one session per day. We find many of our super users (like you!) do the max 3 per day and then they keep going back through the sessions as they learn and reflect more. For right now, we find a lot of our customers really find a lot of value in going slow, taking their time to reflect on each session they’ve done, and also to spend some real time reflecting around the Peace Point - the opportunity to assess and revise your Peace Point should come every 6 sessions, automatically. We have 54 sessions we have designed and we're releasing more soon, so please stay tuned and hopefully we can welcome you back! And if you'd like to try again now, email us at **hello@eatmyway.com** within the next 7 days and we'll send you a special code for a 20% discount! Thank you!
  • Would love to love this

Great content but glitchy like everyone said AND - there’s typos. I can’t help but question the validity of a platform (who’s in charge? Who’s reviewing?) when there’s incorrect spelling/grammar. It was going along smoothly, I was doing daily lessons for 6 days and really liked it. Then it just stopped. No more lessons. The tabs just say “pathway complete!” For the last 3 days. Frustrating because I’m PAYING for this. I’ve emailed Way twice AND messaged on instagram and can’t get a response. Close to cancellation if no one responds and it’s too bad, because this app has potential!

  • So glitchy

I was recommended this app by my Dr. Unfortunately, its just not user friendly and so glitchy. I’ve had to close out of the app so many times du to pages just stuck or repeating themselves. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and that didn’t help. I’m not getting much out of this being as the daily sessions are so short but I spend most of that time navigating glitches. The concept is great, it’s just the app is not fully functional. I have an iPhone 13 by the way. I’m canceling my subscription for now. Maybe in the future if the developer gets the bugs taken care of, I’ll be back

Hi ElizFig08! Thank you so much for the feedback and sorry to hear you were having trouble. We'd love to learn more about which parts of the app were stuck or repeating. We've tightened up the app considerably, but would be great to troubleshoot your case. Would you mind please emailing us at hello@eatmyway.com? We're happy to provide you with free access to offset the inconvenience. Hope we can get to the bottom of it and thank you again!
  • Glitchy can’t move to day 2

Issues with the app and pathways
  • Looks good

Way looks like a good, and it’s pretty easy to use. I would love to use the app longer than 2 weeks, but I simply can’t afford any kind of subscription. That’s why I had to cancel my free trial. I’m Blind and disabled. Due to this, I’m on a fixed income. I will have to delete the app after my free trial end. There’s no way I can afford it.

  • Only 18 sessions

I was really annoying the app until I completed the first page of sessions (one per day). Unfortunately either there are no more sessions or the app is broken as the next screen of 18 sessions do not open.

    And I bought the 1 year subscription… :(

This is either a misleading subscription plan or a broken app. Customer service has not responded.

  • Good Idea Not So Great Execution

Loved the idea and I liked my first six sessions. I noticed a couple glitches at first, like the paragraph I wrote about what “peace in my body” disappeared but I thought maybe I had made a mistake. After my sixth session, once I was on the second page (and subsequently the day after I made my first payment) everything stopped working. None of the buttons I clicked did anything. I reached out for help via the website and didn’t hear anything back.

Thanks so much for your feedback. Apologies that you experienced these glitches, we'd definitely like to see what you're experiencing and figure out how to resolve it. As for the subscription payment, we're happy to refund you if Apple hasn't already. Can you please email us at hello@eatmyway.com?
  • Not ready for prime time

I spent less than 10 minutes with this app before I cancelled my subscription. The first exercise asks you to identify the first food rule you learned, but then quickly moves on to summarize the lesson by saying that you’ve explored multiple food rules. The next exercise asks you to identify a food scenario that you’ve experienced recently and how you felt. That one was fine. Then the 3rd exercise takes that info and tries to dig deeper, but can’t because no matter what I’ve written in the 2nd exercise, the third one tries to help me with eating while bored. Even though that’s not the issue I identified. It’s a great idea for an app but this one isn’t worth paying money for.

** Reading through the reviews I see that I’m not the only one having these problems with the app.

Hi Spraklepea! Thanks for downloading and playing with Way a little. Sorry to hear you struggled with the experience. Although some vocal users have had trouble, the VAST majority (99%+) of our 10,000+ downloads have had a seamless experience. So, let's dive into your feedback - and again, thank you for sharing and we'd really love to hear from you in more detail, and help you in any way we can - just email us at hello@eatmyway.com. To address your issues...Sounds like there's some confusion here and a bit of a difference between what you're reporting on the Food Rules screen and what is actually written - we're not saying that you've "explored multiple food rules", we clearly say, "We asked you about the Food Rules you learned early on, because rules that are passed down and collected throughout your life often shape your relationship with food." It's a very different point we're making and it has a profound effect on 95%+ of Way members - asking about Food Rules goes into the origin of the relationship with food, which is very helpful in exploring the thoughts, emotions, and feelings behind the relationship with food, today. The 3rd exercise was a known issue, but it has been fixed - if you're still having an issue with the session, we'd love to see screenshots and learn how we can make sure that we account for your device or set up. **Again, thank you for sharing your feedback and the experience you had. We hope this helps clarify and we'd love to hear from you directly to understand how we can fix the current issues and prevent them from happening again. Warm regards, the Way Team.
