  • Good concept. App needs improvement.

    I don’t get any notifications even though I have that checked in the settings. I am having a bit of trouble navigating the app. It doesn’t give any options to answer “none of the above“
    on questions that are multiple choice, such as, “Which exercise did you struggle with the most?” There also aren’t enough instructions as to how to proceed through the exercises. I’m just feeling my way through and I’m not sure where I’m going. So, even though I’m finding it to be somewhat helpful in my journey to peace with food, the app itself isn’t quite what I would hope for. Like other reviewers I’ve also experienced some sentences being cut off with ellipses with seemingly no way to read the rest of the text.

    Hi DBarP! Thanks for downloading and playing with Way. Sorry to hear you were looking for notifications and didn't get any coming through. We usually have many notifications going, that are meant to inspire and spark thoughts around finding more peace in the relationships with food and body, but we are currently going through a renaissance of the notification framework, with some exciting new updates there coming soon. To address your point about the certain question/response types - having or not having certain response types is intentional and part of the behavior science within Way. We generally have found the 95%+ of Way Members are able to get some additional clarity, additional inspiration, from the questions and easier answers leading into larger questions - in this case, the "which session did you struggle with the most?", we love to hear that "none of the above" is what you wanted to answer! Glad none of the past sessions you already completed made you struggle :) In this case, you may not feel like you struggled with any session, but it's a *relative* question, that is meant to help illuminate any areas of challenge to help you focus on what sessions in Way you may want to do *next*, either to focus on more or less challenging areas (although in this case, sounds like none of the sessions were challenging for you :)). As for the sentences being cut off with ellipses, that should have been fixed and if you're still experiencing trouble, we'd love to hear more in detail and see how we can fix it for you and prevent it happening to anyone else. 99%+ of Way members have no troubles like this anymore, so we would love to learn more and really appreciate it if you could email us at hello@eatmyway.com.   • Problems

    Many of the pages don’t seem to work, the problem being at the end of an experiment or question I can’t scroll down to the “next” arrow so I’m stuck on that page. So frustrating.

  • Pretty good content, very buggy app

    While the basis of Way, mindfulness, is fantastic, the execution in this app is just OK. Additionally, the app is extremely buggy and there is no option to contact any customer service. This is a little ridiculous at $45 a month. Pass.

  • Good in concept

    I really liked the idea of this. I would have liked more practice exercises for each concept. I felt like i forgot them as I moved to the next. Some of the writing also got cut off so I’d miss part of the information.

  • Not working correctly

    The app has some great content, but it doesn’t work correctly, I can’t fill out some of the questions because it won’t let me and sometimes there is no way to finish a task because the button to more forward isn’t there, very frustrating. Tried several times.

  • Great idea but needs some kinks worked out

    I really like the setup and content but the bugs need to be fixed for it to work well. Sometimes you can’t scroll all the way through a session or can’t read the content because it runs off the screen.

  • Love the concept, but the app is very buggy..

    The concept and info included is amazing, but the app is just too buggy to use. Had some issues completing several sessions that kept locking up. Then one prompt used answers from a previous session, but none of the answers were ones I inputted. If they could fix the bugs (which looking at the reviews have been an ongoing issue), then the app would be worth it 100%. I won’t be keeping after free trial, because my frustration with the app (like having to rewrite my response 5 times to an in depth question) was undoing any benefit from the content in addition to making it hard to progress.

  • Close but not quite

    Like most of the reviews, I love the idea of this app. I struggle with my relationship with food and was looking for a way to get healthy without counting calories.

    However, also like most reviews, I didn’t think this app felt fully developed. It’s surface level pretty, but doesn’t function like you’d expect.

    The 2nd exercise asked me to choose a food experience I’ve had recently, I chose stress eating because that’s my biggest issue. It then walked me through a less on bored eating. While that lesson was great, it’s not my problem at all. So I chose a different food experience, and they all just walk you through a lesson on bored. Why have me choose if it’s not going to be targeted to that response?

    For now, I’m not continuing with the app, but I hope to come back in a few months and see good work from the devs. This app as a lot of potential, but right now it’s just pretty

  • Still doesn't work with iPhone SE

    There are some great ideas behind this app, but it still doesn't work with the iPhone SE despite new updates. Some of the text appears behind the arrow icon. Some of the flow chart steps don't show completion. Some screens don't have any way to move forward after you've done the exercises. Too bad. I would willingly pay for this if it actually worked.

  • No button to continue!?!

    I like what I’m learning a lot. But I can’t finish the sessions if there is no button present to continue. Session 2 Reflection
