Has potential
I love my windmill AC and I think it’s a great addition to anyone who wants to integrate into the smart home market. I don’t love the app.
Overall the app does its job as being a remote for the windmill AC. But, there are sync issues such as the app not running automations properly and cancelling them but still sending notifications that the automations have run. Additionally, the entire automation list can get messy very quickly, especially since there is no way to separate automations and scenes into their own lists.
I also believe that apps that don’t have dark mode in 2024 don’t have that feature out of spite. I shouldn’t have to open the app and be prepared to be blinded by a pure white screen.
