Oddly not available on Android phones not registered in the UK

How provincial. The iPhone app has no such restrictions

Excellent Service for Both Personal and Business Needs!

I use this service all the time, and it’s absolutely fantastic! It’s incredibly reliable, easy to navigate, and offers excellent tools for comparing deals, whether it’s for personal use or managing my business expenses. Martin Lewis has done an amazing job providing such a helpful platform. Highly recommend it!

So so thankful , for your info on last weeks and this weeks broadcasts , we have saved £65 a month on our gas/ electricity bills , with a fixed 12 months from £ 189 from British Gas to octopus
£ 117, plus £50 rewards for our friends and my husband and me who are in our late seventies. Thanks so much , will be now looking into an Isa for us both tomorrow well done and Thank you 👍

They need to develop a proper iPhone App

I’m a big, big fan of MSE. The website and iPhone app are extremely useful tools and it’s often my first port of call when deciding which bank, savings, or credit card account to use, buying insurance, or making other financial decisions.

This would be a lovely resource to be able to read on an iPad, when you want portability but also want a big, wide screen. However, MSE haven’t really developed a proper iPad app. Instead, you get an app with an iPhone-sized aspect ratio within your iPad display. Far smaller organisations have managed to develop iPad apps, so it’s very disappointing that MSE haven’t managed to do so yet.

Another little annoyance that is an issue on both the iPhone and iPad apps is that you lose your place in the article you’re reading if you either lock your screen or change apps for more than a very brief period of time. You then have to search for the article and scroll down to the place you were all over again.

Hi Andrew, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. The MSE App has been designed for smartphones, so while you can download the app on a tablet, you will get a better experience from a smartphone. We are looking to improve this though.

Useless and outdated

Outdated forum app, with outdated rules. I wasted my time to register to ask a question in the forum, the button to open a thread was grayed out and it demanded i confirm my email address I confirmed my email address and now the open thread button is just gone. I guess this is another useless karma based forum where you cant even ask a question without buying tokens or something like that first. Well Im not new to the game I knew you could doublecross me at any time so I used a fake email generated by apple, and i deleted it straight away. And I used a fake name. Sorry So no data collection for you from me. Also, the forum is useless. Its just hate against Revolut, obsession with the FCSC Protection (do this people know this protection only works if the bank goes bankrupt? How many banks have gone bankrupt in the UK recently?) with a tint of racism (by implying a banking license in an Eastern European country is worth less than one in a Western one, so apart from racism this is ignorance, any EU banking licence is backed up by the ECB it doesn't matter if its Romania or France). So just an outdated forum full of outdated users.

I am disabled and tend not to go online as I have a syringomyloma in my spinal canal. While working for the NHS my day care ward was shut down due to winter pressures. I was sent to Leeds General Infirmary to an acute Medical ward. Unfortunately I was attacked by a patient who shook me so hard I sustained the above injury. It took a long time before I got my diagnosis. Initially I tried to continue working. I received little or no support when I returned to my own ward. My career was cut short due to this injury.
As well as unremitting severe back pain I also get frequent migraines.
I always trust your site Martin

Cloudflare gating is a pain

Once you can actually open the app it’s not bad, but the app isn’t so good that it’s worth spending minutes watching cloudflare trying to work out if you are human or not

Security app taking too long to verify

Several times it’s failed and gone back to search page.

Completely inaccessible to a screen reader user

I have only been able to give this a one star because quite frankly, I haven’t been able to assess how useful it is. An awful lot of it is inaccessible to me as a VoiceOver user and therefore, in spite of the fact that MSE is there to assist Anyone with financial advice, tips and ideas, I find myself unable to benefit. I had thought there were certain standards that apps were supposed to achieve before the Apple Store allowed them on board, so this is disappointing on that level as well.

Won’t work

The app crashes each time I try to get somewhere like looking at best broadband. It does the check on whether I’m real and then goes back to the choices again. Not much use.
