Impossible to access/register for Cub pharmacy account
I’ve wasted an unbelievable amount of time unsuccessfully attempting to access my pharmacy account. I then tried to open a new account. There were a lot of error messages without any explanation as to what error I allegedly made, so I checked everything, but still wasn’t able to open an account. I was supposed to receive some kind of pin via email, but nothing arrived. I deleted this app & reinstalled it several times. I switched to a different device, & nothing worked. I asked a pharmacist who was very helpful. While she didn’t know the answer, she was given a customer service website & she passed on to me. Poor
I shop at cub multiple times per week for the last 20 years. I tried to set up an account through the app to see if I could make life a little easier. I can’t create an account with my email and phone number because my phone number is already in use and tied to my rewards card I got 10 years ago, but I can’t reset my password for my “existing” account because my email address is not in their system from when I got the rewards card 10 years ago since you only needed a phone number to sign up at the time. So this is a catch-22 it seems, I cannot create a new account with the required phone number field and I cannot reset my password for my account because my email is not tied to an existing account. Seems like a pretty big oversight by the app developer for people like me who signed up years ago with only a phone number as I am now unable to use the app at all.Show lessYuk091985
Extremely Poorly Made, unnecessary
Why does Cub insist on making customers scrounge around for discounts like this? Isn’t this what the Cub card is for? Why should I have to hunt around the store for QR codes? I tried for over 10 minutes in the store before giving up on the app. It kept giving me error codes when I would try to sign in and/or reset my password. Really bad app.Show lessTrumpetSmith
Bad
Really horrible app. I was having difficulty with things as simple as creating a new account and adding an item to my cart. This really doesn’t inspire confidence in adding my credit card details and actually checking out using this platform. I usually use Walmart’s app and grocery pickup so I thought Cub might have something similar but I guess not.Show lessnot tryna get doxxed
Way to complicated
After many years of shopping at CUB and using the same email address, the new app won’t recognize me. It tells me someone else has my email address. I’ve tried everything to no avail.
Probably time to drop CUB as my go-to grocery store. Another reason to stop going to CUB is that the prices have become ridiculous without any improvement in quality.Show lessMN Boss
Doesn't show rewards
I am a employee at a Cub location and I have this app but my only problem is that it doesn't keep me singed in to show my rewards and many others have this problem. My only suggestion is an app update that fixes this issue for me and many others. When I click on my rewards it says sorry your not signed in. Please log out and sign back in. Then on the home page at te top it then says Hi Dylan. Please try and fix this issue. Thanks!Show lessFan of Andrew and Justin
Can’t even sign in
Two immediate issues that prevent me from moving forward.
- Sign in with Apple doesn’t work. Throws an error and I am unable to continue, with the only option being to cancel.
- App only works in portrait mode? The old app will run in landscape mode on my iPad but this new one does not. I tend to only use my iPad in landscape, held open by the case at a nice viewing angle. Doesn’t work here.Show lessManiiNames
Too much
The only reason I had the app before what to clip coupons and use the barcode when I was in the checkout line. The new app is clunky when selecting coupons. Every time you clip one, another tab pops up with “other products you might like” and takes about 3-5 seconds to close down which is a long time to wait when it pops open Every. Time. You. Clip. 1. Coupon. Also the number of coupons now is too much. I might feel differently about this if it weren’t for the pop up tab, but to scroll through 400+ items is kind of ridiculous.Show lessstupid nickname thing 1234
Very glitchy and disappointing
Two big problems for me. The coupon page functionality is awful. It reloads constantly which means you have to scroll through everything you have already seen and the pop up showing what you just added is also maddening. The other is that it won’t let you stay signed in. When you are at the store it would be helpful to be able to open the app and still be signed in instead of having to sign out and then sign back in. As there have been limited updates to this app there has not been enough testing or listening to feedback.Show lessRicke15
Horrible app
The first one was bad but this one is worse. When I want to get to my Cub rewards I should just be able to click on it and get my card. Nope it tells me my time has it expired and I have to sign in again. Good luck finding the sign in. And limited showing of coupons. I also do not want to see “what else I might like” and wait til that screen goes away. The x certainly doesn’t make it disappear. Disappointed in the app for sure.Show lesscwb3$
