Works Well
Have not had any issues with the app. Has worked every time. Also use it with Home Assistant. Only thing I learnt at the start is you can't exit the app on the tablet otherwise it won't connect. Also need to use 5ghz wifi. 2.4 GHz on the tablet would drop out.
Can’t connect wifi
Connected first time to wifi and turned on. Then went to connect to wifi to turn system off and system can’t be found. No wifi no nothing. I just paid a huge amount for an upgrade on my aircon that uses this system. What the hell?!
Useless App & Tablet
Always drops out, even when connected to WiFi it does not work.
They need to either fix the App or fix the tablet.
Something definitely needs fixing.

Works fine
I’ve used timers and they work for me. Both on the wifi and remote has been no problem. It’s lost connectivity a couple of times in 6 months but I blame my nbn and wifi, not the unit.

I have been using the App for about a month now and it has been working great.
I have read the other reviews and have not had the same experience. Most issues are usually operator error!!

November 2023 just had it installed
The timer on the App doesn’t work . But shows it a timer page on the app . But never works frustrating.
I may be relaxing and have to get up to use the timer on the main Screen.

Themes
Happy with the app, however would like to be able to have the same theme on the app that is on the main controller. On the app, you can only have dark or light.

I was prompted to write this review when my wife just commented how nice it was to be able to just turn the heating on before getting out of bed on a surprise cold morning!
Having read a few reviews I was a little worried but took the plunge anyway. Airtouch 5 installed about 3 months ago and we’ve been very happy with the system and the app.
Other reviews highlight app freezes, WiFi connectivity and pin entry as issues but we have had none of those issues.
I do have a potential issue that an auto program is not always running as expected, which I’m checking to determine if it’s the way I’ve set the program up or if there’s a bug.
Other than that, it’s great. We can set zones to the temp we want whether we’re at home or away. We can also just ask Google to do what we want.

Login
App is fine… very annoying it requests the login pin every time I open it. Back in January someone else commented the same. Poly air wrote “latest update has addressed the login process, please see if the update meet your requirements” now in June 2023. The update still doesn’t meet requirements.
Entering a pin every time the app is opened is frustrating.

Works as required
Having read the reviews I was afraid of poor performance however the latest version works perfectly. Love the ability to control the AC from anywhere.
