    We received lumper fee to pay through this app. Very bad and complicated. Don’t even try it. You will not get anywhere. When you call they put you on hold for 30min but still no resolution.

    My appointment was at 6pm. It’s 9pm and I’m still waiting to be unloaded. Some of the staff are rude specifically this fat guy at the dock. I don’t mind waiting but I hate when people ignore me and are rude especially when I know I wasn’t rude or disrespectful.

    I wonder does DOT and osha know that FreightSmith and Tom Thumb expect drivers to text while driving when they want them to back to a door? I doubt it texting and driving are illegal everywhere. This app and Tom Thumb was designed by someone that doesn’t like truck drivers because they make it as hard as they can on drivers. Tom Thumb is terrible place to deliver to. They don’t seem to realize they wouldn’t have their pissy little jobs if there were no truck drivers to deliver their product!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Not a good way of paying for lumper

    This is the 1st app that doesn’t make sense! It doesn’t let multiple people to access the payment. For example, a dispatcher cannot pay the lumper for the driver since there is no direct link to the payment. Downloading the app doesn’t help b/c it looks like it is assigned by the phone number. Not a good experience so far!

  • Poor communication skills from people at doors 8 at Irvine

    Very rude, not polite and lack of appreciation towards drivers. All the time are looking at the phone not paying attention how long the driver is standing there and waiting for the paperwork. Also. If you ask for a printed receipt they don’t care at all and have a rude answer.
    On the other hand, when you call for a door, Samuel is very respectful, willing to work with us. At the same time, when you call to pay for lumpers the gira are very professional and guiding us to pay for our responsibility. I believe they need to go school again and learn how to deal with drivers who made their commitments to deliver the products and WAL with adversity over the road.
