Incredible service
MILKRUN has quickly become a go-to. Whether I’m pressed for time because of work and meetings, or sick with yet another of the bugs going around, knowing that I can get groceries to my door without having to wait days for a supermarket delivery slot has proven invaluable. I love being able to track the progress, and the app itself is very easy to use - mainly in my case via the search function. Brilliant service.Show lessottska
Not as advertised
We had a terrible experience with using the Milkrun app. We placed our order at 1325. Tracking was broken. I messaged the bot at the time the order was supposed to be delivered (1355). Bot tells me there is an issue with the order and that it is transferring me to an agent. Bot stops responding. I call customer service. Put on hold for 15 minutes until the service prompts me to leave a voicemail message and drops the call. Agent begins messaging me and offers free delivery as compensation (already offered 3x free delivery for new customers). An hour later, still waiting for our order from a store that is 5 minutes drive away. This is not what this app advertises. Also be aware that the items listed are more expensive than at Woolworths so you will still be paying more even with free delivery.Show lessJoe Bloggs007
Love! Except the minimum spend
I genuinely love using MILKRUN. Don’t have to go anywhere except to the door to collect it. Saves so much on petrol. It is a little frustrating that have to spend $25 or more but it is what it is. I just go into the supermarket if I want to get something less than $25. Otherwise, groceries are always gonna be more than $25 so, it makes life so much easier! Lifesaver, love it
I love Milkrun app. Its soooo good for busy professionals who just hate to go grocery shop and can just do it from the comfort of your own place. The delivery is smooth and quick. Within 30 mins usually everytime I ordered it, prices are very much so the same as you would buy in countdown anyway. Very handy service.
As somebody who does not drive, I find the service incredibly useful when you just need a few urgent items from the shop.
The app works well. The delivery times are excellent and they actually turn up when they say they will turn up.
Because of the quick delivery times it also means that you can get a hot chook delivered which you cannot do with the normal Woolworths delivery method because they have a longer delivery window which does not fit the food safe criteria for hot chickens. Fast but missing items
I've made a number of orders now maybe 5-6 and everytime there's always a missing item and also items swapped with the something else not relevant. I've gone in to countdown same place I made my order from afterwards to get try get the item and it's literally there. I think because the time of delivery is so fast, there isn't enough time to make sure items are correct and all there. Will probably go back to using pak n save etc, it's a day after delivery but atleast everything is right.Show lessgamerlapaha
Recommend
I use this app when I can’t be bothered going to the supermarket but I need to get some items from there. It’s fast and super efficient the driver is always there in the time frame sometimes a little faster depending on traffic. You can’t use the supermarket in the same time slot of 35 minutes and there is never a definite time frame for that but there is with this app and it’s why I prefer this one. Maybe a little more expensive but it’s more for convenience. I love this app.Show lessshadowObsidian
MILKRUN
MILKRUN has been such a good alternative for me lately as I haven’t had the time to go to the store for my weekly shop. It gave me three free delivery fees then only $7 for delivery after that.. which for me is definitely worth it. Obviously there is a margin of error because sometimes if they happen to not have your product in stock, you won’t get it. However, there is an option to select before purchasing that says ‘allow them to substitute’ so this would mean they won’t just not get it for you, they’ll get the next best/closest thing.Show lessSophierusden
