It’s okay and needs a bit more features
Overall this app is pretty good to work with it’s just a few things missing to make it truly a great animation app. A lasso tool would be great to help move stuff around instead of having to redraw things, copy and paste would be great to have because it would help save time for me and finally an undo and redo button would be so helpful. I hope that these things are added in the near future.

Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed
The app lacks most of the features that make digital art more efficient, such as the tool that allows you to resize/reshape/move things, as well as the canvas itself being awkward to work and it not even having an undo and redo button, the double tap to undo thing works, but it undoes more than wanted.
I understand that this app is still releasing new features, but some of the missing features are basic things that should have been there when released; do not release an app that is barley usable!
Please say the missing features are at least coming soon?
I would advise people against buying this as £20 is a lot to get a disappointing app that lacks most its features; in the future maybe come back and check if the issues have been fixed, but for not it is nothing but a waste of money. The original procreate app is easier to animate on and I’d advise just to use that. Very disappointed.

Needs more features
This app needs more features. Like Copy paste for keyframes. The marketing hype is really misleading. I can’t recommend to buy this app right now.
Missing features
I adore procreate, it’s a great app for me personally. I had high expectations for this one but the tools were confusing to and use unlike procreate. I feel like the lasso tool is one of the most important tools for animating, it would be even greater if liquify was in it. Now I know you can drag drawings from procreate to this app but is it really necessary if you could do it in one app? I don’t like the idea that this app is an accessory to procreate.

I refunded it within 6 hours of buying it
In the state that its in. Procreate dreams isn’t worth $25. It has less features than Flipaclip which is FREE (and costs only $7 to get all the features and remove ads) from the reviews I’ve seen the lasso tool still hasn't been implemented even after a year. If you’re gonna buy this, wait for a youtube review that says they’ve added the lasso tool and made navigation not look like the inside of a fortress.
When they finally finish this half baked animation software, i might buy it again. But here’s to hoping…

A great app!
As an illustrator and animator, Procreate Dreams is a great app…albeit it’s evolving and sometimes needs to be used in tandem with Procreate but I have nothing to complain about. I am definitely waiting for some important updates which will make my workflow easier such as lasso tool, saving as a gif is sorely missed for gif/stickers artist like me. Found a workaround for that too but not being able to save on transparent background is missed! I am able to create animation on par with other apps and prefer this more for hand drawn animation, in fact have used the underrated text tool to render cool kinetic type animation. Looking forward to the updates, just checked out the latest update on Procreate and can’t wait for Procreate Dreams too! Thank you team for this amazing app!

good but needs some major updates
hello, what i will say is that this app is, in my opinion, quite good. a lot of people rate it badly because they don’t know how to use it. once you get familiar with it it’s quite easy to use. however, there are two major issues i’m finding with the app at the moment.
1, it’s very buggy. the app continually crashes and though it does save my work, which is good and many apps wouldn’t save it, it can get very annoying especially when i’m in the zone. it just interrupts my flow and often keeps crashing several times in a row when i try to reopen the app.
2, the lack of a lasso tool. i understand that some parts of the drawing aspect of the program are still a work in progress, but i would love if there were any updates or information on the state of the new additions to the drawing segment.
overall, still a good app. works better than all the other animation apps i’ve tried and it’s a one-time purchase which i appreciate. many other drawing programs work on a subscription which ends up being quite expensive.

Missing Features, confusing
Where’s the selection and transform buttons? Where’s the lasso tool? Incomplete, and frankly disappointing. At least they put color drop in it.
Tutorial
Please give us some sort of tutorial… Impossible to figure out without using tutorials from third parties on YouTube. As far as I remember procreate has a tutorial, so why doesn’t procreate dreams?
Wrong priorities
This is simply not a competitive product compared to the other animation apps that, by fact, are better. The argument to give the app time to develop doesn’t make sense when the fundamental tools are missing a year in and pushing Barrel roll and upgrading equipment was the big update mid way through. The redo-undo was a problem immediate on release. How that wasn’t caught before release is so odd. That’s a major issue. I will try this app again when it addresses their essential problems.

Response from developer
Hey there - if you're coming across pixellation in Procreate Dreams, it could be tied to your zoom level when drawing details. Check out this article for more information: help.procreate.com/articles/zleqxr
