Great service, authentic meals
Absolutely LOVE using Shef. I order every week and really like supporting local “shefs” as they call them. These are the types of meals you won’t find in restaurants. Highly recommend.

Food never arrived and all they offer is a $5 discount
They have no phone number to call, no real time at and just a ticketing system. They do have a text number but they don’t seem to respond to it. Our food never arrived in the 2 hour delivery window and when we asked for a refund they just said “sorry, you’ll get it an hour late heres $5”. Ticket #388469. Don’t trust these people with your credit card info. If anything goes wrong you’ll have to deal with starting a chargeback.

Right now it is giving error of could not connect to server, whereas the domain is accessible from web browser.

I love Shef so much and every time their little red bag appears on my front door I can’t wait to explore another culture through incredible food. Their mission to help chefs share their talents, including immigrants and laid off restaurant workers, is simply amazing. Plus there are SO many dishes I never would have had the opportunity to try (Moroccan beef tagine is a current favorite!)

App doesn’t work
Tried multiple times to uninstall/reload but to no avail. The app starts and stays on the activity tracking landing page and doesn’t move from that point. Please fix asap or have it removed from the App Store.

I’ve been a Shef customer for a while and am so happy there is an app. It runs super smoothly and is very intuitive - and best of all, makes it even easier to order from such AMAZING cooks in my city! I’ve learned so much about different regional cuisines through Shef and couldn’t recommend it enough.

Easy to find delicious home cooked meals!
Beautiful interface. Easy to order, track orders, leave reviews, etc. Can’t find better food cooked by immigrants anywhere else. Support local!
