Leave a Review Breathe Flow
Very insightful if used right, part of my routine now
Love this app and all the feedback it has to provide about my breathing depth, heart rate fluxes based off my breathing and how I can improve a bit more everyday using deep breathing techniques and comes with the AI powered chat for extra information and breakdown which is awesome!Interesting app which would be much better if user could setup length of inspiration & expiration
A novel app which I find interesting - but I find the required breathing rate too fast, and my curves don’t look smooth.
I would be nice if users could breath normally and the app could pick up their respiratory rate. Or, alternatively, if users could create custom breathing patterns.
It would also help having more comprehensive explanations of what it all means.
Thank you!Show lessDoesn’t detect breathing pattern
I get notification after notification that this app didn’t detect my breathing pattern even though I am performing the EKG at the same time as I am following the breathing demo in the app (5sec inhale, 5sec exhale)
I don’t know what’s wrong with this app.Developer Response
Hi Marina, I am happy to see that you have done more than 100 tests mostly with our other app - the BREATHE ECG. We can see that you perform controlled breathing in at most 5% of the tests and only then does it analyze your vagal tone. That is the science behind our test. Only when doing 5 sec/5sec breathing does the vagus nerve activate and we can analyse your health. The vast majority of your tests are done with faster shallow breathing and hence we cannot establish proper vagal tone analytics. The basics for the analytix s is respiratory/cardiac synchronization by the vagus nerve and this is activated only at slower breathing. The 'breathe detect' feedback is for tell you when you successfully perform diaphragmatic breathing. The goal of our apps is to teach users to do healthy breathing. Please put your questions to info@vagus.co if you have problems with how to use our apps. Hopefully, you can also then get a benefit from Breathe Flow and train to perform diaphragmatic deep breathing with 5 sec inhale and 5 sec exhale breathing practice. Have a great day, The VAGUS team
