Description of Lifeline+

The smash hit texting adventure with millions of worldwide fans is now on Arcade – get lost in space with Taylor as you help navigate the deadly universe of Lifeline! “I’ve played many games that I find engrossing, but Lifeline may be one of the first that changed the way I thought about my daily routine, which leapt off the screen and became a part of my lived experience.” - Eli Cymet, Gamezebo Lifeline is a playable, branching story of survival against all odds. You will help Taylor make life or death decisions, and face the consequences together. Acclaimed writer Dave Justus (Fables: The Wolf Among Us) weaves a gripping interactive story through the aftermath of a crash landing on an alien moon. Taylor is stranded, the rest of the crew are dead or missing, and Taylor’s communicator can only reach you. Lifeline pioneered a new narrative experience enabled by modern devices. This story plays out in real time as Taylor works to stay alive, notifications deliver new messages throughout your day. Keep up as they come in, or catch up later when you’re free. Or, dive in and jump back to earlier points in the story, and see what happens when you make a different choice. Simple actions can have a profound effect. Complete any single path to restart the story and unlock this mode. Lifeline is a deep, immersive story of survival and perseverance, with many possible outcomes. Taylor is relying on YOU. • Takes a REALLY long time to finish

( By the way, if your reading this I would just like to say this is only about the main game not the bonus part )I’ll start by saying that this game is overall AMAZING!, but can take a while. There is a fast mode, but it tends to go too fast for my reading ability. Although it is nice when you have to wait, long periods of times. I recommend using fast mode only when you need to like when Taylor is going to sleep or long wait times around an hour or so, but that’s the only aspect about this game that really needs noticing, Although, it gives a real sense of time which I think is pretty cool. This game is extremely thrilling and has such a good storyline! It is so fun and adventurous! I hope in the future they can make chapters to this or sequels.
One thing I wish I read about this game before hand is that it involves A LOT of reading I mean A TON! Personally, I don’t mind that, but if you aren’t exactly amazing at reading, I don’t recommend this game for you because it will be very, very tricky. Also, there are no visuals in this game just pointing that out. It would be cool in the future though if they made a game for this with visuals about where Taylor was or maybe a different story as if Taylor and I crashed together and needed to make spot on decisions. But overall, this game is amazing and I totally recommend getting it!

  • One thing

This is a fun sci-fi game and it entertains me every time I play it. I just got into the game and it is pretty fun except for one thing. When I ask Taylor to go to the ship, it takes a few hours for him to get there. And throughout the game Taylor just takes a few hour long breaks. I would like to make the wait time a bit shorter. (Expect an edit soon) Edit: Actually, after playing the game a little bit more, I kind of like the waiting thing! It gives me plenty of time to do whatever I want on my phone and it makes it more suspenseful! You earned another star. Edit: Wow I’m stupid. They had fast mode the whole time so I can just move it faster.

  • Worth a play through

I’ve played this game twice since I got it, and it’s quite good.
Most reviews said it took about a week to finish, I must have done something right as it only took me a little over two days.
There are two reasons that I didn’t give this game five stars. One is that Taylor is awake for roughly eleven hours depending on how fast you are to reply, then they sleep for about seven-ish hours, so at some point they WILL start talking at night, I quickly had to learn to turn my ringer off. Number two is that this game does get repetitive once you beat it. It would be nice if something as small as their name changing every time you play so it doesn’t feel like you did a weird time loop.
All in all it’s worth playing, I’d say it’s definitely one of the best games in the Apple Arcade,
