  • Buggy

Has potential , but right now it’s full of bugs. Trying to use unsharp mask closes the app. Trying to use tint slider in develop persona closes the app. Sometimes moving a point in the deform filter closes the app. These I found after about 1 hours use, who knows what else is wrong with the app. I went back to version 1. It’s stable, this version is not.
  • So glad I didn’t pay for it yet

Constantly crashing the moment I start to edit. Sometimes I get into an edit and do many changes just for it to crash and delete all my work. Glad I didn’t pay for it and only used a trial version
  • Cool, but buggy

I'm using the free trial right now, and I'm glad I haven’t sunk money into this yet. This app crashes all the time. I’m looking for a mobile editing app to play around with, and i would be willing to pay the intro price affinity is currently offering, but this isn’t it if I’m going to have crash bugs every ten minutes. Hopefully it gets sorted out, because what you can do with this app when it works is great.
  • Major Issue

Charging customers who paid for the full license for the next release is one thing. Having the new release being unstable to the point of being almost unusable is another. Removing your stable version from the app store from customers that paid and making your unstable version (which they now must pay again for) the only one available is simply extortion.
  • Crashes constantly

I wish companies would leave their existing, working versions in the App Store and release new separate apps, like with the Affinity Mac and Windows versions. I had no problems with version 1, but I can’t get through a project without v. 2 crashing, which means it’s unusable.

I love Serif’s products, but between this and the ridiculous MSIX installers for Windows, their v. 2 rollout is kind of rocky. At least the Mac version works, which is my main platform.
  • The best app for RAW files and edit your digital live professionally.

I love to edit my RAW pictures with a Affinity. The screen of my iPad Pro let me see the the changes with pristine accurate colors. Easy to use, easy to learn. A great improvement from V1. And the last update (2.0.3) solved some issues.
  • Buy it, they delete it and charge you more for another version, um FRAUD anyone?

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!! They sell INCOMPLETE products and then delete that product so you can’t use it and FORCE YOU to buy this (AWEFUL, NON-UPGRADE) CRAPPY version, that they will now turn around and make obsolete in a year and force you to buy .3… THIS IS ILLEGAL, IT IS FRAUD AND APPLE HAD To PAY OUT OVER A BILLION FOR the SIMILAR STUNT With the power cord. LETS ALL SUE AFFINITY FOR SELLING US FRAUDULENT PROGRAMS THEY LATER MAKE OBSOLETE. This means YOUR PURCHASES has A SHORT SHELF LIFE BEFORE ITS GONE as well!
We should ALL SUE!!! SUE!!! SUE!!!
  • IT'S NOT WORKING FIX IT

I accidentally delete my v1. which is the only reason I purchase it. Now? I just want v1 back. I even don't need a refund or what.
But still I just can't understand why they 'update it. This is full of inconvenient. What I purchased is pack of bugs.
also ur new UI looks jusk like kid's play pad. worst part? became ugly is not the only flaw.
It makes me tooks more more time to edit.
lens filter adjustment is not working at all. Seriously what made you let this out to the world when it's not working. and WHY DON'T FIX IT at least you have to give me my old and better v1.
I give you my money for both v1 and v2, and I want v1 only now.
I even don't use 30 days free trial cause I think it would be better than v1. as I said, money is not the problem. the problem is, v2 is much much less than v1.
let me download my v1 again. so so so disappointed.
  • New user trying to get away from Adobe

I’m fairly new to Affinity Photo as of about 3 months ago, so still learning. I got Affinity Photo and was just getting the hang of it and then V2 came out and a plus an IPad app as well. I was briefly annoyed after just purchasing, but then realized, even purchasing 1, then 2 and then the iPad version, I’m still saving a lot of money when compared to a creative cloud adobe subscription.

I have so far enjoyed the Application and have actually started using the Astro stacking feature which when I compare my results to other stacking software, it does a good job.

Other than the learning curve(no pun indended) I haven’t ran into the situation where I haven’t been able to do what I wanted using this app.

I unfortunately still have time on my adobe sub but have already cancelled the auto renew. Thank you Affinty!
  • Not an instant buy

I really thought I would buy this immediately, but I find the interface very confusing…which is how I felt about version 1, I just hoped they would take the opportunity with a new version to improve that. Feels more complex than even PS, which definitely should not be the case.

It took me 5 minutes to figure out how to open an image from my Photos Library.

It doesn’t appear to support full-screen on an external monitor, or even sizing beyond about 50% of the screen, which is a deal-breaker entirely, at any price point.
