It cost money
Not for newborns
I have tracked activity for days and still the app persists on the long sleep at night.
I like the UI and very easy to track activity but no actual help in managing sleep. Will be looking for some other apps which provide activity tracking for free.
Not worth the charge
Not free
Too many errors to justify price
- repeatedly encountered an error message when trying to log naps/sleeps. This is particularly challenging when it’s 3am and refreshing/restarting the app doesn’t fix the error for over an hour leaving you to try to remember the sleep times (near impossible for sleep deprived parents)
- very expensive considering number of bugs. Can find other apps where I have to set my own sleep alarm but for a tenth of the price and no bugs is more worth it.
- can’t edit wake times during sleep until after event (again hard to remember in the morning). You need to be able to get to your phone to start immediately to start sleep for accuracy.
Pros:
- sleep windows are relatively accurate
- reminders are handy throughout the day
- 7 day free trial

Oh no, that is definitely not the experience we want you to have. Our experts would love to help you - please reach out to support@smartsleepcoach.com and they'd be happy to fix it for you.
Nice app but expensive
In genuine shock!
Decent for sleep, but has clunky and unintuitive interface
However the app as a whole is clunky and not as good as peer apps, such as Huckleberry which have a far more intuitive interface. For example, in this app you can only track apps at specific times (during the app’s recommended times) — e.g, if a nap is suggested between 12-1:30 pm, but your baby falls asleep at 1:30 pm, you cannot use the live tracker option. This is silly! You also cannot adjust the start time of naps and feeds while you are tracking. Again, this is a feature that exists in Huckleberry. The iWatch app has the ability to start and end a nap but no button to pause a nap — again, why would you not make this the same as the phone app?!
Developers: for the amount of money I’m charged for this app (more than £100 for annual subscription), I expect a much much better user face. Please do better!
For 12+ weeks only
With that said, I would consider trying this again when baby is old enough, as the app is easy to use and has lots of good information… but I feel like I prematurely used the free trial without getting any real insight on a sleep training plan like I would have if I’d known the appropriate age to start from the beginning. For that reason, I’m pretty disappointed.

Oh this is so unfortunate that you got this impression. We only offer sleep training after 12 weeks as that is the earliest it is recommended (in fact 16 weeks is ideal) however the app is absolutely designed to support babies from day one, through the fourth trimester. Helping improve your baby's sleep starts with getting them in the right sleep rhythm, figuring out day/night confusion and ensuring they have the right sleep environment. All of this can happen in the first 12 weeks of life and our app has the tools to support you through all of that as well as gives you access to your own personal sleep consultant! I do hope you'll consider giving us another try, the app can definitely help you!
