Great app for beginners.
A beginner who thought running was impossible. Currently on week 8 & just ran a 5k(a week ahead of the goal!) Great hands-free app as you get voices telling you when to start and stop running. Also, you don’t have to upgrade but I did at week 5 bc of how much progress I made and wanted to support the creator. Only downside would be I don’t know about a 5k in 30 minutes by the end of the program. I just ran my 5k in 37 minutes (at week 8 day 2 out of 9). Progress nonetheless, but you may need to work on pace separately. I’ll be starting the 5-10k program too. Thank you.

Basically perfect
I love this app so much. I’m currently in week 9 and have gone from barely able to run for a couple minutes, to the full 30 (before week 9).
Pros: audibly tells you to walk/run and gives a halfway cue; no interference with music; the program itself was well planned out; count down timer that stays on screen if you’re in the app; and encouraging notes from the developer (thanks coach lol)
The only thing I would like to change is some indication of what “set” you’re on when you’re in the interval weeks. When I was starting the program and would get really tired, I wanted to know how many runs were left. There is a timer in the top right that kind of helps but it’s not the same thing. But honestly this is such a small note. Overall 10/10 and I suggest this app to every one.

Maybe call it 0 to 30?
Overall, I’m pleased with the app and the program. It’s worth the small price for the upgrade so you can track yourself while in locked screen. Would also love to be able to add to my smartwatch.
My only downside is that it says couch to 5k, indicating you can go from no running to running a 5k by the end of the program. While some may be able to run a 10 minute mile (30 min 5k) by the end, I would expect the majority of us cannot. The program helps you progress from running a minute at a time to running 30 minutes straight. That’s great. But if you haven’t progressed to 10 min mile pace that quickly , and you are planning to participate in a 5k race, that 5k is going to be rough on you. Luckily, I have some experience with running and I used another app to track my distance, so I had to actually kinda go off this app in my last week . 5k race in two days :)

Gives me just what I need.
I’ve been looking for a free app that will get me started on my journey again. Two years ago I went from being a non-runner to a person who hit the trail three times a week doing about 2 miles each time, which is incredible for me. I’ve never been a runner and I am now age 65.
During my first year and a half of running, I did suffer a minor setback with tendinitis in the hip, which required me to rest and exercise, not run. Once I got back on track, then I suffered a foot injury. Now that that is recovering, I wanted to get out there again and this app has been helping me to do that. It’s easy to use. I just hit start and it gives me a five minute warm-up, followed by prompts for running and walking until I complete it.
I am excited to be running again and I look forward to getting back to doing greater distances. Thank you so much for creating this app for people like me to continue with a healthy lifestyle.

I literally have never run before
And clearly never leave reviews. BUT I just finished the last day of week 9! I followed the app and in the beginning some days were easier than others but I kept with it and found a joy in running that I wouldn’t have expected. Some weeks were better than others and overall I fell off a few times. But overall I got to running for 30 minutes straight which otherwise seemed impossible! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just pick this one
Easy to use, not intrusive at all. This is the app you want if you’re doing the couch to 5k. This is how apps should be.
Excellent App
This app is so good… simple to use, no unnecessary bells & whistles. It’s name says it all… Just Run! I love that I can simultaneously use Strava on my watch to track distance and also listen to podcasts on my phone and the voice commands still happen.
Easy
Simple to use. My stamina has improved.
Great app to improve your running
This app has taken me from struggling to run for a minute straight to being able to completely run my first 5k! And I am so thankful this app doesn’t make you pay a monthly subscription or anything unlike so many apps out there these days. It’s got a nice and simple design which helps you focus on your running journey, rather than other apps which fill your screen with needless buttons and stats and colours.

Best running app
Really enjoying this running app and I’ve tried lots, this one is by far my favourite. No distracting voiceover just simple and easy to use.
Much better, thank you.
