A social network for the ages
Nostr is the protocol and Damus is the client. For a person to understand this app they should understand that Damus is not the social network; but rather the app that connects to it (nostr). Damus is the iOS client version and there are others as well, but this app might be one of the best clients out there right now.
I’ve been using Damus for a while and I’m continuously impressed be William’s (developer) ability to shop update’s incredibly fast. He listens to users and implements ideas on the fly - truly incredible!
My favorite feature is definitely the zaps! I use wallet of Satoshi to connect to Damus and able to zap sats quickly to anyone. The custom zap amounts are also super cool.
