Just got the cleaner, downloaded the app, and can’t even create an account. For a robotic pool cleaner to not have a functioning app makes me question.dnwhit
Horrible quality product
Bought the pool cleaner robot w/ solar panel less than 2yrs ago. The solar panel never worked for charging the cleaner. Pin on the charger that attaches to the solar panel unit has broken & water has gotten behind the control panel on the solar panel & won’t turn on now. Customer Support doesn’t respond to emails. One of the worst companies out there
What’s sad is this is the new and improved app. It’s apparent they will not hire at least an engineer to manage building a working app.
Yes they have fixed a couple minor things in the update but the major problems still exist.
When the bot goes to sleep you cannot turn it on with the app. There is no reason the low power Bluetooth can stay running.
You have to always grab a pole to bring the solar panel or bit closer to the edge of the pool as most of the it decides to shut down in the middle.
Manual control got a little better but after using it for a couple minutes it gets confused and you have to shut it down.
Why can’t the app tell you how much charge it’s getting from the panel? That would be helpful.
The scheduler is still completely useless. How in the world was this released the way it is, for months. Even someone that works in your office would easily know it cannot be programmed.
I’m not going to go into all the hardware problems as this review is only about the app.
If you are looking at WYBOT for your pool cleaning needs you need to wait until they get the right people or just go to a more reputable manufacturer.Show lessScottnj1966
Awful communication
You shouldn’t have to constantly spam a Company by email to get some kind of response. I am on my third solar robot from them now and this one has just failed after a few weeks. Awful products and awful company.RateTheGreat
App doesn’t work
I was able to download the app but unable to register. It says there is a problem with the server and when I try to contact support, I am directed to a website where the certificate is no longer valid? And I need the app to change the cleaning patterns on the vacuum.Mica_111

Was working then stopped
The app logged us out of it then won’t let us log back in or create a new account. It says it is a fake site and won’t allow us to connect. I just want to run the pool cleaner.Drawingimpaired
app Won’t open - invalid server certificate!!!!!!!
I’ve had the m1c for year now and the app has gotten worse along with the function of the robot. It won’t run the entire program. Stops in the middle of the pool. Misses complete areas and corners of the pool and walls. Every run. No I can’t even open the app. WYBOT’s server certificate is showing as invalid and Apple won’t open any more. So there’s no way to even control the robot at all. Every clean job manually takes plugging any unplugging and restarting about 5 times to try to get the pool halfway clean. Pist! If I had time for this nonsense I wouldn’t have spent nearly a grand on a robot. Which by the way they tell me they don’t have a replacement filter basket or parts for. So as things fall apart or get damaged I guess you through the robot away. All I needed was a filter basket when it was working!Show lessWhyAmI
