  • Osprey 700 won’t update to new firmware

    Trying to open my pool this summer and my Osprey 700 will not connect to the updated app. Keeps trying to do a firmware update but spins forever.
  • The new version won’t connect to my Osprey 700

    Using the Osprey 700 for the first time this season and I had to update the app. Now it won’t connect at all to my cleaner. So frustrating!

    UPDATE
    M1 Bot has died. Water intrusion from a poorly engineered robot.

    The list of things that do not work on the app with the m1 is more than what does work. You cannot switch the bot on once on sleep mode. You sometimes csnnot start the bot. You cannot get the bot to come up the wall to remove it from the pool. The temperature is not correct. It does not show it charging, especially when using solar. It does not let you know what the bot is currently doing. It does not show the correct battery charge. Spelling incorrect on the app. There is more but you get the idea. We were told months ago that two teams were working on the app. One to fix the issues on this app and one that is working on a new app. I do not understand how this app does not work as it is the same for all the bots they have. Right? What a mess

  • Great bot, app is terrible

    I’m guessing there is a way to thread the needle and get this thing to work with the app. Everything is connect, WiFi light is on, but the app just spins forever when setting the cleaning mode. No idea what it’s doing.

    The app needs to be more clear about order and status.

    Also, the battery icon should reflect that the thing is charging when it is.

    It’s so unclear how the app works.

  • M1 ultra & app are a dumpster fire!

    App: problems connecting to WiFi, firmware updates that don’t work, general problems connecting.
    M1 Ultra Robot: the solar panel buttons delaminate and eventually cause leaking/failure.
    Company: non responsive.
    Summary: look elsewhere

  • Robot OK. App needs a lot of work

    The M1 solar robot is ok, but without the app it lacks functionality and is hampered from being a great pool cleaner. The app makes selecting options difficult with confusing screens, this is compounded by a lack of clarity in knowing when an option has been selected or confirmed. For instance you can get to the pool shape selection screen, but tapping on an option produces no feedback to know if you have made the selection. The is all the more frustrating because some screens have a save option while others do not, so it is difficult to know what options you have selected and if they are saved. Currently experiencing a couple of issues with both the app and robot and have received no response from Wybot, so buyer beware that you might get no customer service help if you have robot or app issues. It’s been about two weeks of no response, I tried to in app feature as well as the website. I would also note that they hide reviews on their website. It says “be the first to review” so I put a review in that said much of what is above and it has yet to post, I verified the purchase on their review verification site judge me and nothing. So they are likely aware of all the issues but trying to hide them to boost sales for now.

    Update: about 4 months in the charger is inoperable and solar charging doesn’t work. Bot worthless now and app still too glitchy and won’t connect. Should be 0 stars. Avoid the company, the app, and their bots, customer service stopped responding so had to try going through credit card company.

  • Disaster

    Noting works as it should. Try to submit reports via the app and it crashes, repeatedly. Schedule doesn’t save, power display is inaccurate, manual drive is counter intuitive, and these are just examples of what is wrong with the app. The robot itself also has many problems.
  • Are you purposely doing minor updates that do not fix anything??

    I have a feeling you are doing this minor updates that fox nothing just to show a new date for the software.

    You really need to start proving you are actually doing some real work on the app.
  • Bot ok…app not good

    The robot works OK in my pool. It struggles to pick up leaves and keep them. This is day two of ownership and I think I’m gonna have to pull the pot slowly out of the water to keep the leaves in the bin and not just washing back into the pool. I will update if I found a solution.

    The app is horrible. Not user-friendly and shows I have two updates. Neither of them can be initiated for some reason that is extremely frustrating.
