Great tag but so disappointed
I live in Canada and bought several bytetags for my dogs. This is one of the best tags I’ve seen or used. I even showed it to our Humane Society who liked it and had used it once to contact a dog’s owner. But after I lost one, as a puppy pulled it off the older dog, I found I could not replace it as Bytetag is no longer shipping to Canada. I am very disappointed and have had to move to a different tag. Hopefully the company will be able to ship to Canada again.

An absolute Must Have!
ByteTag is an absolute must have, and I am so glad I found it! I bought the ID slide and it fits perfectly on my dogs collar. The app allows you to provide so much useful information about your pet so that whoever finds them has everything they need to know in order to help! The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I bought the ByteTag looking for an active tracking device, and with everything I read, I was sure the ByteTag had this feature, but I have yet to find that. However, ByteTag does have the option for the person who finds your pet to send their live location, and they can also call you. I feel 10x safer knowing my dog has all the info anyone might need to get him home to me right on his collar

Great dog tag
We travel often overseas so this is a great tag to have. So when hand him to a friend or family member it easy just to change the contact details!

Great dog tag! But just unfortunate they don’t ship to Australia anymore, as I wanted to get more for myself and other wanted to get it for there dogs once the saw ours.

Such an amazing app!
When we first got these our now 15yo chihuahua decided to take himself on a walk while we were visiting our old neighborhood. We had been outside in the backyard when I got a phone call that he was out exploring. Then a few months later our 2yo Husky Pit who loves to explore found her way out the fence of our backyard and two times my son called me frantically upset that Lady was missing. Within 15 minutes of the distraught call I got a phone call from someone who found her. We’ve since fixed both fences at both houses but are forever grateful to their ByteTags for helping us reunite our fur babies with their human siblings. I’ve seen neighbors on NextDoor frantically searching for their pets. These have truly been a blessing for us. We now have a 3 pup in our pack and while she’s not a fan of having to wear her collar all the time it gives me peace of mind knowing that if she gets out there’s a higher likelihood we’ll get her or her siblings back safe and sound!
I especially love that we can be quickly contacted without having to jump through the hoops of going to the vet to scan for a microchip! My current 3 have one and any future pets we get will get one as a welcome to the family as well!

Brought my dog home safely!
Last week I was out to dinner with friends and there was a thunderstorm that spooked my 15 year old Havanese Chloe. She managed to squeeze under the gate of my fenced in backyard and ran across my busy street and was found by a very kind woman who scanned her ByteTag and brought her back to my house. I have a video of her on my Ring and wish I could get hold of her to thank her! While I was on my way home, she brought Chloe to my neighbors house. I am so very grateful I had a ByteTag on her collar- it worked exactly as it was intended to work and I am so so grateful to have her back! Thank you for a wonderful product!!

Tag breaks apart too easily
It’s a great idea, for those that don’t want to break the bank getting their dog micro chipped however, even after not even a couple weeks with this tag on the dogs collar it busted off. There has to be a better design you have for longevity.

What a beautifully made app! The app works flawlessly and is so user friendly! SO much information can be put into the pet profiles- including their photos, vet information, health information, behaviors, and owner contact information. I feel so much relief knowing if any of my boys are lost they can easily and quickly be returned to me! They are all microchipped, but a microchip is only good if the finder brings the cat into a vets office, and if the microchip doesn’t have updated information then too often cats are not returned to their homes. With the Byte Tag- there is no confusion that the pet is lost. The owner receives a notification with the scanned coordinates. The information is easily updatable!! Just go into the app and enter your new number or address. I LOVE the security of this tag and can’t believe I didn’t buy them sooner! Thank you Byte for making sure my boys will always be returned to me if they were to ever get out!

Feeling Secure
Recently my beloved pet got away from our house sitter while we were out of town for our daughter’s wedding. It was a nightmare. I was terrified for my pup and heartbroken. Social media was great spreading the word, and that is how I found out about ByteTag. We had signs posted, and help from great neighbors & friends. Ultimately, five days later, our pup retuned home apparently on her own. We were extremely lucky, she was safe & sound, although we have no idea where she was during that time. I ordered the ByteTag the day she returned home, and I also ordered an AirTag collar. I’m very grateful that we had a happy ending and my pup is now safe and trackable.

I love this app!!
I have worked in Veterinary medicine for 17 years and have personally seen the devastation that not having the proper identification on a pet can cause. I have also been the person that has spent days making phone calls, posters, online posts and doing anything I can to try to reunite a pet with its owner.
I love this app and this technology! I have this for my new pup and he NEVER goes anywhere without it! I want anyone to be able to notify me, my husband, family members or just know where to take him to drop him off that knows him if I can’t be reached and this tag gives them that information, day or night without having to jump through hoops to call a microchip company or take a pup to get scanned for a chip (although I am in favor of microchipping also) I feel like this is much more user friendly, but gives so much more info than a regular tag can provide.
