OK, but not worth the price
This is a decent app, when it works with simple formatting. Unfortunately with a lot of academic articles it struggles with citations and differences in formatting. This would be fine, if it wasn’t so expensive. For 12.99 per month I would expect a far far better experience, and it is simply not worth it at that price. For 12.99 I would expect a wider choice of different, and less robotic sounding, AI voices. The difference between this AI and others on AI podcasts, or Spotify’s AI DJ, is night and day. And like anther reviewer said, the UI isn’t great. You have no visual feedback confirming your upload was successful and what the progress is, and the time between uploading a link and receiving it back is enough that some some of progress indicator should be made more clear. Want to love but can’t get it to work
I really, really want to love this app because the concept is absolutely amazing but I can’t get it to really work for any of the papers I try to upload. I’ve even tried uploading the same paper in different ways (I.e., share from chrome, upload the downloaded pdf directly from my computer, and copy and paste the url for the pdf), but I can’t get it to download more then one section most of the time and definitely can’t get it to section out the article (I.e., abstract, intro, methods, etc.). I don’t think it’s user error, but if it is I’d be happy to hear any suggestions on how to make it work better because I would seriously love if this product could do what it’s advertised because it’s such a great idea and would save me a ton of time!Show lessJsskttl
Promising!
This app is easy to use and the AI voice is pretty darn good. That said, I found that sometimes it had issues will punctuation and footnotes. Hopefully this will be remedied as this app show’s potential. Sadly, for the £12pm subscription I could not justify the cost as out of 25 papers I uploaded it struggled with 8 of them. Once it improves I may re-consider but for the moment I will return to my PDF Reader.Show lessTalath_D
Great App!
This is a game changer for keeping up with papers. It’s not quite good enough to follow every detail, but it’s definitely good enough to get a sense of the what the authors are studying, how they do it, and their conclusions. I highly recommend endorse it!MS485937
Potential
The app over promises in relation to what it can do. It’s still glitchy, unable to convert some PDFs, audio conversions disappearing completely from listening playlists. But I hope they fix the glitches as it has potential. I appreciate that the footnotes are not read aloudLupats
Seems like a scam
This app did not work for me at all when I tried getting PDFs onto it to listen to. Then I tried cancelling within the trial window and found they didn’t offer any way to do so through their app. So I had to go into my Apple settings to cancel the subscription that way. Seemingly that worked except I come to find out I was not refunded AND I’m continuing to be charged as if I have the subscription still despite having cancelled it. Don’t get this app. Nothing is transparent and it’s not worth the hassle.Show lessBu_bbly45

I'm sorry to hear about how frustrating that was! If we had the ability to cancel or refund for you, we absolutely 100% would. For Apple subscriptions, the only way to cancel them is to click App Store > Profile > Subscriptions and cancel them. This is how any app with a subscription works, not just our app.Lie and theft
Besides the awful ui/ux, they lie about the free usage period. The first step is asking for registration and the second even before using the rubbish app is payment
They stole 12.99 from my account, while I had assumed the fee would be deducted at the end of the free period. No, they took it right away

Useful but so difficult to use
The speech is great, and I really wanted to like this app, but it’s just very difficult to use:
* When I add some content there’s no feedback and the content takes some time to appear
* The app goes back to the “add content” screen every time I go away from it
* There’s no feedback about what’s actually playing, and tapping on an item restarts the audio at the start!Show lessNeilf5765
Problem with resetting password
I couldn’t log in to my account. When trying to reset the password, the field to type the email address seem to be frozen. Can’t use the app at all! Bad experience. Cancel my trialM. Neha
I feel like a super learner!
I’ve recently been feeling pretty overwhelmed keeping up with the latest research in AI but now I can learn on the go as well! The app works really well and saves me a ton of time, well worth the priceinfinitejulian
