Better than user adobe to read pdfs but price…
Pros:
-different voices and speeds
-make notes directly in the app
-can use on desktop or mobile
-really helpful because it skips over notes, citations etc.
Con:
-a product geared towards students shouldn’t be this expensive.
-sometimes files get chopped. Paragraphs go missing, you have to skip around.
-the separation by chapter isn’t really helpful, should have the option to make it all one solid text and be able to mark where in the audio you left offShow lessjenny patrice
Deteriorating experience
I really enjoyed this app when I first downloaded it. It had a relatively expensive subscription fee but I thought it worth it. Now, it requires a login and I can’t get into the app without agreeing to an annual subscription. I already subscribe! I also can’t access support for the app. I feel caught in a loop and will be unsubscribing unless it can be quickly fixed.Show lessLleemm77

Not as good as Bing
I uploaded a few papers for reading. I did want this to work, but unfortunately, it is not good enough. It mispronounces multiple words including ‘analysis’ ‘100’ ‘cm’. Furthermore, it sometimes completely skips parts of sentences. Maybe it will improve but not worth the money now.a.grabowski

First impressions without even using the app, as you signup it suggests to give them a review immediately!!! How can you provide feedback for something you haven’t even used yet? The other major disappointment is AFTER YOU AGREE TO DO THE 2 WEEK TRIAL, APP TAKES YOU TO A LOGIN PAGE, NOT STRAIGHT TO THE USE OF THE APP. Then you have muck around and try to remember what passwords you used etc, DEVELOPERS OF THE APP WANTS EVERYTHING THEY CAN GET WITHOUT THE USER EVEN ACCESSING THE APP YET!!!!!Show lessMessiah222333
Not worth it
Too expensive for the basic performance that literally your MAC has under the disability feature. It doesn’t worth it at all.Benjibasire
DO NOT TRY THIS APP. You cannot cancel it
Since I first applied for the trial I could no access my account. I emailed them detailing the problem and never got a message. I cannot retrieve my account since no email is sent to me when ai try “forgot my password”. Today they charged me 137.39 dollars and I can’t even get into my account to cancel it. I emailed them again, hope I have a response now, I will not pay for something I simply never used and can never use. Worst app I ever tried in my life.Show lesseduardomandra
This works!
I’m so impressed with how easy this is - the ability to upload a pdf from my desktop, and then have a realistic voice read something aloud on my phone is unreal (without having to send or laboriously sync). The available voices are all great and you can make notes! This has changed my working life for sure!Show lessPowerRanger09
