  • App won’t connect to server

    App will not connect to their server. Rendering both the app and the device completely useless. This is not a reliable app, which makes the device unreliable. This has been a huge time waste and very frustrating, and a waste of money. I tried everything support said to do. It’s THEIR sever not working. Can’t rate an app higher than one star if it’s completely nonfunctional.

  • Unable to use device

    I just received my device, and am completely unable to use it at all, as the app requires login, but whenever I try to sign up or log in I get a server error. This leaves me with a completely useless device.

    If this issue is not resolved in the next day or two I will be initiating a return of the device.

    I had high hopes for this, but now it seems it was a waste of a LOT of money.

    For the cost, there should be a way to use the device with the basic functionality without having to rely on obviously unstable services.

  • Fail. Can’t use device b/c can’t use app

    Bought this, but can’t use the device because I can’t sign up an account. Come on guys. This is terrible!

  • Bad practice for subscription

    I was informed I purchased a premium subscription- which I did not actually agree to - and they have no way to manage your subscription in the app - like most apps or AppStore apps. It’s very sketchy. I cannot even log into their main website to cancel my subscription. I emailed them to cancel but I literally shouldn’t have to do that. Pulsetto - you need to use the same subscription model as the rest of the AppStore apps and allow users to manage their preferences with their Apple id. There is little transparency in the way they currently do this. I’m not sure I like the device much but now I really dislike it because you should not need to have an ongoing subscription to use such an expensive product - which is honestly a little cheap feeling when you receive it. I don’t think I would recommend anyone buy this. This whole experience feels sketchy and gimmicky and I’m regretting it.

Screen brightness: You have a really good point about the dark mode - I'm reporting it to the team to add to the improvements list for future updates. Meanwhile, if you have the "run in the background" option enabled in your phone's settings, you should be able to lock the phone phone when the session starts, to not have the light from the screen shine. The set minutes and modes - while it might feel very similar, the different modes stimulate with different frequency, from 2000Hz up to 6000Hz depending on the mode. The modes correspond with the frequencies and help with those specific issues. However, you can add more minutes to the mode you started, which can help if you need additional stimulation. :) I hope this clears things up and if you have any additional questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out to us!
  • Decent

    When it works it great but almost every day I use it I have to delete and reinstall it. It’s when I get to the playing part and it does not respond to any buttons and the only way to get out of it is to close it and delete it. Very frustrating
  • Sessions loop

    The sound loops after 2 mins of any chosen session which is nerve wrecking not calming at all

  • It’s a good idea

    I’ll start by saying I have degrees in biology and nursing and currently work with vagal nerve stimulation through breath work and yoga with clients so I do understand the concept of vagal nerve stimulation. That said this is a promising start and it’s good to remember that this is essentially a beta version. if the developers read these here are my suggestions. 1. have a battery life indicator. I can’t tell you how many times I forgot to plug it in between every use and it starts and then says oh sorry my batteries dead and you can’t use it till it’s charged 2. Do something about that annoying bright, flashing light on the side of the device especially if you’re using it before bed there’s nothing like that flashing in your face when you’re trying to go to sleep. 3. The app it’s glitchy. When the device fails mid session, when you go back in it says how was the session and what I really wish there was an option that said I didn’t have one because your device died so he gets a disproportionately negative responses from me because I’m irritated. 4. The length that charge last is maximum two sessions, which makes it not very portable. I haven’t figured out how long it takes to charge, but I believe it’s at at least a couple of hours so really if you don’t charge it between every session you run the risk of what just happened to me tonight - it starts and then dies after a minute and I am sitting here with gel on my neck with the device plugged in beside me, flashing the annoying red light that it flashes when it charges. 5. They’re also doesn’t seem to be away to turn it off after you take it off after a session that light stays on and I imagine it just powers off on its own, but that might be a factor and why the battery life is so poor. I remind myself that this is a beta. This is not to finished product, and hopefully the developers are reading the reviews and understand ways in which this could be improved because I know this is an important area of work. It’s my career right now but I wouldn’t share this with any of my clients yet just because it is so unreliable and glitchy.

  • Could use dark mode among other improvements

    I get migraines a lot and need to use dark mode on my phone. I’ve used Pulsetto to help break a migraine but the screen is so bright. It would be nice if they had dark mode like the rest of the App Store apps. Also make it easier to switch mode once starting a session. Having to back out is annoying. The modes are kinda useless to be honest. It should just be a simple start session and set whatever minutes and intensity you want. Perhaps you can add text for recommended duration for anxiety vs stress vs burnout but limiting it to a specific minute time for each makes little sense.

  • Button faulty

    I’ve had my Pulsetto for a week I’ve been using it. I haven’t noticed a difference yet, but I’m gonna give it time. It definitely stimulates my neck but the button is not the best design and gets stuck and now mines permanently stuck in this weird angle position so and I’ve only had it a week so I don’t even know how long it’s gonna last so I sent them an email and hopefully they can send me a new one but the button design isn’t fantastic and I am all about vagus health so we’ll see what results I get with it. Wish it had a better button design and app interface. i’m updating the review 2/19/24 because I have yet to hear back from the company who I emailed.

  • So much hope

    I had so much hope for this device. Its actually disappointing I couldn’t get it to work. I have to delete the app and upload each time just to get it to pair. After awhile , that didn’t even work. I tried to contact customer service but no response. By the time they contact me, I will be returning the device. This caused me more frustration than I had!
