Absolutely useless app.
I wanted to stay loyal to the black cab drivers, but out of 12 different attempts to book rides using the app, only once did it yield a cab… who cancelled one minute later.
I even tried booking a ride to the station in the morning and that was ignored as well.
Not sure what the point of the app is if you can’t actually book a cab but it should be removed from the App Store.thejagerguy
Excellent and no corporate leeches
We needed a cab from our VRBO and the app allowed us to book one ahead. No surge pricing and owned by the drivers so they are not paying fees to uberlords! Regular trained London cabbie that didn’t need an app to find the route!where are striller pa
ETA was way off. Charged to cancel
I try to stay loyal to black cabs in London, but the app gives no price estimate and the arrival time went from 7 minutes to 10 then 15 etc. then 17. I understand traffic is bad but I feel deceived by the original ETA. Then was charge 5 GBP to cancel. Guess it’s Uber from now on. Was picked up in 1 minute with a clear price up front.jonilawrence
Only worked once
The rest of the time it would search for a driver, not find one, and then cancel my order. Much easier to flag down a taxi.Beulah Ritmueller
Glitchy and slow
Visited London normally living in US, T-Mobil 5G. Slow to find driver and you have to cancel twice for a cancellation to take.London visit
Pass on this app
This app did not work well for me. Often it kept endlessly searched for a driver. Another time the “selected” driver went by me with another fare in the car.
Far easier to hail a cab or use Uber.bluepalm1
Not good at all
I tried to use the app in my London hotel and it kept searching for a cab. I just walked down to the curb and flagged a cab in 15 seconds without the service charge. I guess that if I need an app for a car I’ll use Uber & not for a taxi.Patrick D Baker
