  • Great idea for an app!

    It is a great idea for an app but it is not working to smoothly. It let me register but when I tried to add my older dog it keeps telling me something went wrong. So I tried to add my younger dog and stared to tell me something went wrong again but then it added him. So I retried adding my older dog and it won’t. Keeps going to something went wrong. So then I tried to capture some receipts for the food I just bought tonight and I go all the way through but it won’t register the receipt.

    I have 27 foster cats and six outside cats and random feral cats that show up😱

    I buy so much Purina food weekly!
    so I’m happy that they are offering points.
    I spend so much money on Purina products it seems to be the product that keeps them healthy and happy without vomiting or getting sick. It’s the only affordable brand I will choose. I’ve paid more for other brands and some may not even eat it. I’ve been fostering for 5 years now, it’s very difficult to keep up with the cost of food due to the rise in cost of everything.

  • Tricked by Purina

    I have used the Purina app to get credit for my Purina purchases! I have been a loyal customer for over 30 years! And the agents I speak to about problems with the app and my redemptions are either uninformed or being told to lie! In either case it is not a good way to do business! And the quality of what used to be the BEST is no longer there! I have let Purina know by sending a can of Fancy Feast to show what I mean! I KNOW they are using sub par ingredients and it SHOWS! And the price has doubled! I want my cats to have the best I can give them and I am actively looking for another brand! I just HATE deception!

  • Purina App and customer service

    I do cat rescue and feed cat colonies out of my own social security pay. I feed approximately 68 cats. I used the app for points which seemed to work ok in the beginning. I did get several coupons over the past year which was so helpful because I was able to use the better food. The past 1-2 months there was issues with me not getting credit for receipts. This was in July and August. I called approx. 6 times to resolve the issue but points never showed up. I was on the phone so long trying to resolve issue as each receipt was having to be looked up. I was told some were rejected possibly because date was not visible, or told it takes time for receipt to credit. Problem was never resolved until yesterday when I spoke to someone else and she then connected me back to original person I had been dealing with! I was finally told that my receipts for hundreds of dollars I spent on food were all rejected because I reached 3,000 and that was the limit for the year. Did I overlook this declaration in the app.? I would think Purina would consider me as a loyal customer. So now I have deleted the app and will reinstate it next year when they take my receipts. For that duration I will have to go with another company with less expensive food because I cannot afford the increased cost of Purina/Friskies cans and Purina One, Friskies dry, kitten food and Purina complete.

  • Terrible App Multiple Problems

    You know I love my animals. I will feed them what they like, but I am going to reconsider ever buying another Purina product again. why? because of their insipid app, they act like it’s Fort Knox or something up in there. I have never had so much trouble trying to log into an app! And that includes banks and government websites and numerous more important things than some product receipts!

    I get one error message after another. I’ve reset my password easily a half a dozen times then they said that im locked out for security reasons or try again later or reset your password again because it was insufficient credentials. it’s an exercise in futility dealing with this. This isn’t just a one time thing understand this is every single time since I joined the Purina reward program about six months ago.

    So lots of people don’t have static IP addresses. Lots of people use different devices. I have a phone a tablet and a computer laptop and no matter what device I’m using. It’s the same account and I’m at the same address, it makes no sense. and their customer service lies. They said it took care of it. They’ve never taken care of it.
  • Upset with this app!

    I buy Purina products all the time and like to scan receipts for products but I was having to change my password every time I tried to log in, I contacted Purina to tell them I am unable to even log in now it keeps telling me my credentials are wrong, my credentials are right, there is something wrong with this app, I even tried deleting password and making new one but it still won’t let me log in!!! Purina told me to update my app but it is already updated and has been but still cannot log in! I will contact them again but I hope I get more precise help this time!

  • Something wrong here

    How is anyone able to earn “points” for just adding their pets…if you keep getting an error message of “something went wrong”. I have followed step by step after just downloading this app and I can’t even get through adding my first pet. Takes you all the way to the end of adding a photo…I click finish and says can’t be added?? What is this if you can’t add the simplest of info from the get go?? Purina needs to get their tech team on board with actually being able to input info YOU are asking for! Come on. Don’t advertise this if no one can even use it. Absolute waste of time! Do not even bother with this!!

  • Redownloaded issues from the start

    I am not sure why I removed the app before but maybe removing it again after redownloading and receiving errors from the start.

    The first thing that stood out to me on my home page when I opened the app was a red box with a message that said “Missing pet information” “Complete Profile”. I personally hate seeing these types of bold boxes, this would be especially true for this case because a lot of animals are mixed and people have no clue what they are mixed with. This is especially true on cats, where you are putting dsh, dmh, or dlh as an answer, pointless and a lot of people have no clue what that is (rant over).
    So I fill in the missing information, a picture, type of breed and push save only to receive an error! “Something went wrong please try again”
    I have tried to exit it and log back in, it looked like it was going to work, it said it saved, I hit next, and it did not give me the next cat, so I went out clicked on that cat only to be taken back to the first one, to receive the same error again. You get the point.

    If I cannot get through the simple task of updating/entering pet information which is a first step am I truly expected to think there will not be more frustrations and errors?

  • Gratitude

    Thank you for having this app,I have 7 cats, feed the deer, raccoon & possum (who both eat cat food) & I just took in a 12 yr old dog that’s had a extremely hard life an hasn’t properly been eating right. I’ve always used friskies for the 4 years I’ve had the cats but I didn’t know about this app. I appreciate the ability to try & save money, my animals are very important to me. Thank you!

  • Really like the app, but needs more dog products

    I really like this app but the only down fall I see is it should calculate what animals are put on the app. I only have dogs, no cats. It seems there are more cat products than dog products. Which therefore limits what I can use my points for and purchasing things for my dogs. I think if there are only dogs on the app, it should only be dog products showing and the same with only cats. If it is dogs and cats both then the app already has it right. I have 3 huskies so I’m always uploading receipts from bags of dog food to treats. I’m very limited on what I can use my points for when it comes to redeeming them. All in all I really like the app. I’ve had no issues with it uploading receipts or redeeming points for products.
