  • Makes me think and control what I eat

I really enjoy using this Lingo app. It has been amazing to discover what I can eat with food combining and how my body reacts to things. I would highly recommend this app to anyone.

That’s great, we’re really glad you’re enjoying your Lingo journey!
  • I like the new layout

The weekly summary is a nice addition, and the new look of the chart when you open the app is a nice touch

That’s great! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our app. We’re glad to hear you find the concept interesting.
  • Ok but missing obvious features

So far so good BUT no Apple Watch app (or complication) and Lingo reads from the Apple health app but won’t write to it.
  • Missing the (data) point(s)

You would expect a health sensor app like this to write data points into apple health but that is not the case here. The Lingo data is only available in the Lingo app and the underlying datapoints are kept opaque to the user. (You can see the data presented only as a continuous line on a graph)

The app itself seems fine, no major issues when setting it up, no connectivity problems, some of the videos are useful. The app layout and “coaching” feels a little disorganized, but the only real complaint I have is the lack of access to the measurement data. Access to that data is literally the motivation behind buying a sensor like this.

I don’t want to record my meals and exercise in a new app, I want the glucose data to go into the database where I already store my nutrition, exercises, and all other sensor data.

  • Buggy

Lots of things about this could be good. However, the app requires massive and urgent attention. The latest update seems to have broken things more, especially if you connect to apple health. Won’t open or show anything useful.

A good concept but totally let down by the app. Given the origins (fairly old tech) and the parent company (wealthy drug company) it’s quite a shame. I’ve cancelled and going to try Zoe. As there’s more useful info there for now.

  • Horrible IT Systems

Within minutes of ordering I discovered multiple problems with the IT flow: 1. The FAQ does not mention any shipping address restrictions or the carrier. Only after placing an order does an order confirmation screen appear stating that UPS is the carrier (which will not work for my PO Box). 2. In the app outdated tech (sms) is forced upon users (rather than TOTP or U2F) for signup. 3. The app Face ID/Touch ID Signup option appears to be conflated with passkey/iCloud keychain use. 4. There are multiple other UI problems such as a lack of metric system options for US users that prefer to use pounds or inches. 5. Not at all the apps data sharing permissions appear mandatory for the app to function as intended. I consider the privacy implications of this app to be onerous. There are many high school students that could design a more functional secure app in one afternoon. Of course the app itself is of no use until customers receive their CGM. So allowing USPS to ship to PO Boxes (or producing an error before accepting payment from customers using PO Boxes) is necessary.

  • Smooth and easy set up

And that’s pretty incredible for one of the few apps that breaks skin. This is my first time trying a CGM and the process has been seamless. Thank you, Lingo!

And bonus thank you for supporting passkey login.
  • I’m first to write a review

Got my lingo delivered and attached on 9/6/24. Sensor took an hour to warm up, but signing in/on to app and connecting sensor was seamless, just like my prior Libre2’s.

App is lifestyle based, not just the cold hard numbers. I would prefer more numbers. I wish there was a way to get a table of the readings rather than have to slide a bar around. Also am trying to figure out how to see this data on my Apple Watch rather than have to fire up the app.

  • Glucose monitor for nutrition and wellness

Shows your current glucose without any 15 minute delay. The graph is better than other CGMs and makes it easy to see what foods make you spike. You have to buy a Lingo sensor to use the app.
  • Great for Tracking Hidden Sugars!

This glucose monitor app has been a lifesaver! It helped me easily track my blood sugar levels and identify hidden sugars in foods I wasn’t aware of. The insights are super helpful, and the interface is simple to use. It’s really improved my diet and health.
