  • Still more work to do..

    Hangs, crashes or unresponsive.
    When I was trialling in June it seemed less problematic but since August the service is awful. I wouldn’t use again until I see some positive changes. I’m on my last biosensor and I’ve hardly been able to use it because the App is so unresponsive.
    I got this via a nutritionist but the data they get is not helpful as it’s just charts and none of the data I input such as food! So the data sharing needs to be improved too

  • Still some work to do

    On the surface the app looks good but as some others have said, it crashes regularly. Some of the data visualisations are very confusing and make it appear as though you loose data. I had a long conversation with their customer service team who insisted it was expected behaviour. I don’t know if it’s a bug or bad design but I hope they invest in improving things and I might come back.

  • Lingo app

    I love the concept, the sensor is comfortable and the readings are very helpful. However for the last 24 hours the app has been stuck on “decoding your glucose patterns” and I’ve not been able to access the readings. Given the cost, for the app to fail this way is not really on - defeats the purpose. The app needs work.

    Also £120 a month is not accurate. The month is based on 28 days - just to keep in mind.

  • Good app but…

    I found this journey with the lingo app very interesting. It is great to see how food and exercise affect my glucose levels. There are a few things to improve I think. App freeze now and then and sensor disconnect. However when the sensor reconnects, it fills up the missing data point. I would like the option to set some threshold on glucose level, at which point the app would send a message/vibrate the phone to alert the user. I would like also the option to download the data points to do some analysis myself. Also, manually annotate/detect peaks would be useful, instead of just add notes for the automated detected peaks. I find the glucose weakly trend graph very interesting, but it plots this and previous week only. I wonder if this visualisation could be improved to track the weekly trend across several months. I definitely recommend this app, even if the sensor are not really on the cheap side.

  • At first glance shiny, but it’s empty of content

    I’m feeling very sorry for myself having splashed out for Lingo. It’s vey basic content, and the Count is meaningless to me as I’ve no idea what makes up the score. It’s just dull. You can’t even scan the monitor, you have to wait for it to update, which is slooow. It’s not coaching, at all. I advise caution, only useful to those who haven’t worked out that a fruit smoothie or a bowl of choc mousse will likely cause a spike…

  • Good concept but execution is glitchy

    I have been using the app for 6 months now and often run up into technical issues. I have spend hours with customer service and often issue takes days or weeks to be resolved which I find unacceptable for the price of £300. I love the concept but only if it works.

  • STAY AWAY till product, operations and service mature

    Great concept but half baked. Very early stage app that is still glitchy in many places - so far I’ve faced a login issue, address input issue and have placed an order that is having some major delivery mishaps, I wonder what’s next in store? Sadly it’s not just the product that’s not mature, the operations aren’t there yet. Have spent a lot of time trying to get the matter fixed and the service received so far is not sufficient, the support agents are helpful but the policies they are being asked to follow seem majorly lacking. For £300 spent so far, a less than ideal situation. Given how this situation is being handled, the company just doesn’t seem to care about customers, when you charge customers £300 for a product (that held so much promise!), at least give them a good experience and if you make an error do more than just saying sorry.

  • Just what I wanted

    I was having some episodes with health and felt they were low blood sugars.
    This app showed they were due to poor eating pattern have only had one since using and regulating my diet. As a medical professional I find it w very informative. The new update is great especially the new mmols as that’s what I’m use to.
    There customer service is also very efficient. Thank you

  • DO NOT UPDATE TO 1.4.0

    Someone randomly shifted the measurement unit without the option to shift back.
    So if you have used mg/dL for 40 years, there is a surprise for you: It will just show you mmol/L from now on.
    Also, if you click on a logged meal, now you don‘t see your notes anymore but have to scroll down a full page to read a single word and can‘t see the graph anymore.
    The update pretty much kills the day to day usability.

  • Decent tracking, but not real-time

    There’s a 17 min delay in readings. Support confirmed this, and said it’ll be fixed in a future version but it looks like there haven’t been any updates for months.

    Other than that the tracking seems fine. It accurately detects spikes that correspond to sugar intake.

    App could be better. Food tracking is still manual, and it doesn’t even save common foods so that’s a lot of manual typing every time. I also ran into a “reconnecting” error multiple times, had to close app and reopen to fix it.
