Fed up of this company!

So I have been using 24/7 for years now and the entire time up until recently things have been fine,I use the app frequently to get to and from and 99% of the time I always pay cash I very rarely pay card,I had a car journey a couple of weeks ago early in the morning to get back home and I payed with cash,the next morning I woke up to a payment link to pay for the fair I had already paid for,I thought nothing of it as it must of been a mistake,a week later I got another payment link come through I believe I didn’t even get a taxi that day,once again I brushed it off as an error,I went to log in on Friday to book a taxi to a friend and the app wasn’t allowing me,it said it was waiting for a payment and could take up to 3 days,I waited 3 days,nothing,I tried logging out and back in but when I tried logging back in all I got was an error message and I’ve been unable to get back into my account,there are no help lines to talk to and I’m just at the point of confusion and stuck on what to do as I am absolutely struck for words,the company has gone down hill and I don’t think I’ll be using them anymore.

Not Accessible for blind people

I am blind and I use screen reader technology but you are completely unable to book a ride on the app as VoiceOver just does not work with the app and now you are completely unable to track it as if you phone up to book they never give you a tracking code anymore

Too many marketing notifications

Good for booking, but the marketing notifications are annoying.

Great app but needs a couple of upgrades

1. I’d like the option to book a Pet Car so as to not keep getting the line “I don’t usually take dogs” when then cab arrives even after I’d put that in the other details box - happy to pay extra for the service too.

2. Also, you really need an option to tip within the app after the journey has ended.

Great can form

247 have improved so much with their new app and lots of drivers now. They have done so much charity work over Christmas for local charities

Get the app if you want to lose money

Due to having to pay a booking fee on the app my journey cost me 12.40-14.40 whereas by calling and booking I only spent about 10.30. Gotta be up there as one of the worst apps lol

Late and inaccurate

I recently used the 24/7 Hastings taxi service to travel from Old Town to Hastings train station. While the driver was friendly and the car was clean, my experience was not entirely satisfactory. The taxi was 25 minutes late, which caused a bit of stress as I had a train to catch. Additionally, I was repeatedly given inaccurate updates about the car's arrival time, which only added to the frustration.

Moreover, after having the app recommended to me, I was disappointed to find that it didn't function properly. It struggled to locate me accurately and didn't send the necessary verification code, making the entire process more cumbersome. I understand that delays can happen, but it would have been better to receive honest and accurate information about the delay. I hope the service can improve in these aspects in the future.

Early morning and no taxis useless app 8am and no taxis ridiculous DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Excellent Reliable Service

I am enjoying my use of 247 taxis much more now with the app, and every ride has worked out well since starting with it some months ago. Thank you 247!

Pre booked taxi

2 bookings made and two bookings 30-55 mins late. Terrible service, totally unreliable.
Don’t bother using them as a service.

Since the new app they have become hopeless

Booked several days before we needed a taxi several times now and the app just says ‘finding a driver’ for ages when it comes to the time you expect the taxi to arrive.
Makes it impossible to plan anything.
Used to be a great company.
No longer useable now unfortunately.
I will now use other companies.
Pity.

Don’t bother using the app

Booked a taxi 12 hours in advance and they don’t turn up on time. Told me to wait another 20 minutes. What’s the point of pre-booking?

Room to improve

Not reliable. Pre ordered taxies turning up 30-45 min late. Nobody to talk to in the office, all automated - not a fan

Never had a problem with 24/7 taxis, staff are friendly and courteous on the phone and Drivers are friendly.

Worst Service Ever!

A few months ago this company and app used to be very reliable, however, since the launch of the new app/system it has gone exponentially downhill! I can book a taxi hours in advance and still be left waiting up to 30 minutes after the time I’ve booked it for - it doesn’t matter the time of day either! I’ve been late to work numerous times, been left waiting with my shopping and felt stranded with no inclination of when the taxi is going to arrive. If you call the office you are greeted by the ineffective automated robot before getting through to an actual operator, only to be told they’re busy and the cab will be there ASAP - it’s not good enough. The supply/demand is obviously managed very poorly or the taxis would be relatively punctual. Diabolical service…. and I haven’t even mentioned the attitude of the drivers!

Utterly useless

Pointless, even pre-booking a taxi doesn’t mean you’ll get one anywhere near the time you’ve booked it for - just what you want when you’ve finished work either a 1hr+ wait or a 1hr walk home. And good luck trying to get a cab with another firm because they’ve spent the last 5 years squeezing out all the other firms in the area

Can’t talk to anyone it’s all automated so you have no clue what’s going on. Shambles, just let us know if you can’t handle the workload instead of letting us book taxis which will turn up god knows when

Unreliable and useless

Made a booking a day ahead of time, received a booking confirmation, but when it came to the scheduled time the app simply told me it had not allocated a driver. Rang the main office number, and the call is intercepted by an automated system which acknowledges the booking, repeats the message about a driver not having been allocated, and with no option to speak to the call centre. The taxi never arrived, and I never received any callbacks or updates from the firm. Cannot use it again, and it’s made me less confident to even trust this firm with any bookings, via app or by phone, in future.
