Simple, straightforward and safe
I’ve been using SplashID for a decade and found it to be safe and easy to use. Every so often, their updates cause glitches but these are soon fixed. Plus, I love their simple and intuitive user interface. So many competitors have got these super minimalist interfaces which are a nightmare to navigate. Think of it as a Toyota not a Tesla. In a nutshell, SplashID just works.

Total Disaster.
I’ve been using splashID for years. With an update 6 months ago I lost all my data. It is now encrypted, garbled, jumbled characters on the screen and there is nothing me or tech support can do to recover it.

Avoid at all Costs
This used to a great app - I paid for a life time sub a number of years ago on account of how handy this app was. Unfortunately it has not been kept up to date and is now next to useless when running current versions of iOS. The software continually chokes, freezes and crashes completely - when it doesn’t it takes ages to access simple records.
These issues are replicated on a number of different devices, so it’s clearly a software issue.
I’ve logged two tickets in recent months in an effort to get help/advice as to how to address these issues so I can use the lifetime sub I paid for and surprise, surprise I have never received a response from the developers. Avoid at all costs.

Great app - simple and does what it needs.

Location has been around for a number of years. If you end up forgetting your password, you’re pretty much hosed. these guys cannot reset your password. The only way you can get back to the application is by resetting your account and you would lose all your password files. that doesn’t sound right. Add insult to injury the customer service person whose last name is Filipov is the only one manning emails. This this company appears to be a one-man operation. There’s no direct customer service line to return to in an emergency. It takes customer service past 24 hours to respond. When someone cannot get into their password manager that to me is 911 because it could be any number of very important situations like accessing financial based accounts, the bottom line is, I would not recommend this software, nor this company as a whole, take caution if you are considering to go with them.

Worst support I have ever encountered
Ram must be a bot! Doesn’t understand the problem has no solution and just says wait for new software. I am a lifetime subscriber and gifter and have this app working across multiple platforms but it won’t recognise my login on an iPad. Time for a change Do not purchase this app.
Find something else
I’ve been using this app since it first came out. I have nothing but issues. Sometimes all the text turns to foreign characters. You have to close the app and log back in. When selecting a category for your entry if you do not fill out all the fields those go away and you cannot return to the record to fill in those fields. You have to create an entirely new record. When you change the icon image to something different, the app decides to change it back to something different. I can go on and on about issues. The only reason I still use it with all the problems is because my accounts haven’t been hacked YET and I paid for a lifetime subscription. There are a lot of better apps out there but not very affordable so I’m stuck here. I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, however.

So much better than version 9
I have been a user of this app since day 1 and it’s great.
9 comes along so I ‘upgraded’ but soon went back to this version 8 which is just perfect. Fast, accurate etc.

Horrible customer service
I purchased this app a few years ago and it worked as advertised, no complaints…then it stopped working and said that I had to purchase a yearly subscription, which I shouldn’t need as of I had purchased the app. I’ve sent emails in asking why I need to purchase a subscription when I paid for the app, no response.

Sluggish
Have been using this app for over 13 years but lately I find it slow to open. Also for some reason the option to set it to offline mode is greyed out, and can’t find a reason for it. Not sure what’s changed, I’m using the latest version
