So slow on iOS now

So slow now on iOS after latest software update. Almost unusable. After many years use, unless a fix is done I will be changing to another app

Great product and great tech support

I have been using SplashID for many years and that alone is a big deal. So often apps come and go or change drastically, but SplashID has been around many years and that is important with an app to manage critical confidential information. They have evolved the app over time in a very good way - they add new features but they don’t require you to make big changes in your use if you don’t want to, but the features are there if you want them. I did have a problem one time when I opened the app and my data had gotten corrupted and I couldn’t read any of it. I contacted them and their tech support was excellent. They were so detailed and careful as they walked me through the steps - testing things, looking for the issue, and then getting me up and running from and automatic backup. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by their excellent tech support. I have been using SplashID probably since version 1 or 2 and I have been very happy with the app since the beginning.

Do Not Forget Your Password

I like this app as it is easy to use.

I have been using FaceID to unlock the app for quite awhile. My FaceID stopped functioning with the app for some reason and I had to use the password.

I could not remember the password I used from years previous. I requested a password rest link. Unfortunately, I was informed by the developer that the app was built without the ability to send a rest link and I would have to remember my password. This has apparently been corrected with the latest version…but that does not help me.

This is the app to go through the ages

I started with SplashID from my first Palm Pilot and through a myriad of devices over the years. 2023 finds me continuing to use a windows desktop version, iPhone version and a iPad version to sync all the data of living with technology.

I choose a wifi sync (over the cloud) for more control and backup via computer and email once and awhile.

None of the other password keepers are this secure and easy to use/sync. Customer support via email was amazing.

Still pleased

Been using this app since it’s Palm days. Used since on many different platforms without any issues. Lifetime license a real bonus.

SplashId

I’m a very longtime SplashID user and have always liked the app. My only complaint is that sometimes the items I’ve put in the Field description, have either disappeared or changed to another type of account. The data below each field is still there, but the Field info I previously entered and saved such as “Password” or “URL” gets deleted or changed.

However, until recently, I only used the app. on my iPhone 11 locally, with the daily Apple iCloud backup, but now I just changed to SplashID Cloud backup on my new iPhone 14 and sync it with the desktop version. This works much better and the desktop version allowed me to delete a large number of double or non-used icons.

I’ll continue to be a “Lifetime” user of this app.

Versions.

Something fishy is afoot. Claims of over 1million users yet just under 1000 reviews.. i havent seen any functional or feature updates for a couple years now. I bought lifetime subscription and app has stagnated. No icon updates, no new features.
One UI feature i dislike is the fav stars right next to the letter select scroll bar. Big fingers keep tagging contacts as fav’s instead of jumping to desired letter.
Granted app is stable and does a lot, but some change and existing features updates are needed.

quirk to fix

quirk to fix 2022nov30 the trash button has probably been in the lower right forever but over the past year I have fat-fingered the delete button at least three times. Thank goodness for backups but a UI change either moving the button or requiring a
more effective delete confirmation process would eliminate one annoyance. With the current setup my brain and finger generally are in the process of closing the app when I accidentally touch the trash icon, then the delete confirmation pops up, and I inadvertently accept deletion while closing the app.

still on again upd2021 successfully migrated my data to a new pc thankU devs! on again 2020 Splash- I have a love-hate relationship with you. From deleting my data on one end (good thing I make backups) to supporting "offline" sync on the other you've driven me crazy over the years. I'm still with you- because I've gotten accustomed to your quirks. Here's to hoping you'll become more fanatical with your unit testing (especially with respect to not repeating historical issues before your next release).

Great

I’ve been using it since it first became available for the iphone. There were some rough periods but it works well now. I use it on my Mac, PC, iPhone and iPad, so there’s always a backup. Just needs a touchid button on the login screen, because it doesn’t always launch automatically.
