This was a good app until they started putting ads in front of there video! It doesn't load, and takes about 5 minutes to get past a thirty second ad. I can't view videos without a 5 minute wait of a glitchy ad. Please fix, as I want to view your videos!!!
Almost there!
I am changing this review to 4 stars as some of the crashing issues are still happening. However, most of them are now fixed. I can get right through the sign-in process right up to logging in, but it then crashes while authenticating when I click the 'sign-in' button. Fix this ASAP and I will update this review to a 5 star. I am on an iPod Touch (4th Generation).

Ruined with version 3
Like the previous reviewer said, the latest update (3.0) has completely ruined this app.
It used to be a great app, now it's completely pointless. All articles just open in Safari, so you might as well just use the mobile website rather than this app which is now just a glorified shortcut.

Had it for a couple of years and use it almost every day
Average, heaps of glitches
Whenever I play a video on this, it gets halfway through, freezes, and when I quit out of the app, my iPod screws up as well, prompting a restart. Also when you browse reviews by genre, if you turn the screen off or get a notification, it goes back to the home page and you lose your position. Everything else works ok, but these glitches need to be worked out before I give it a better rating.

Love it!
This app is awesome, I have used it many a time while game shopping. I'll be browsing the games store @ lunch time looking for something to play over the weekend and I might need a quick refresh of a review... out comes the iPhone, straight to IGN game reviews > search...
It's great because you can also get brief summaries of the game or read the whole review. This type of app is just another reason why I love the iPhone.
