Going downhill fast
I've had this app for five years plus. Every update seems to completely break or change something that worked. Now none of it works. My profile has been reset multiple times. Login issues persist. But the worst offender is lack of landscape mode. Why? Don't you know that most people use landscape?? I primarily use my iPad in landscape. Whenever I open this app, my iPad freaks out and is forced into vertical. So until this app is patched to include landscape, then I will cease using it. If it is not done in a timely manner then I will delete this app. I am using the updated version of this app on an iPad Pro 10.5 Update: You've added landscape, but it's worse than ever. It tries to load vertical, then having to turn my iPad every which way to get it into landscape just freaks out my iPad. I had to do a reboot of my iPad after this fiasco. I'm done. Deleting the app now. Zero stars if I could.

Fixed the intrusive ads, so I'm updating my review
In my previous review, I posted a one-star review because I was getting bombarded with ads every time I read an article or scrolled through the news feed: video ads would pop up as I scrolled down on every article or news feed. Actually, I would go to open the app and then remember how bad the intrusive ads were and decide not to use the app. Now that this has been fixed, the app runs a lot better and much more appealing to use. Thanks, developers.

New update is awful
I have to remove it from my iPad. There just doesn't seem to be any reason behind the new changes. Now it's difficult to search through the main stories in addition to having no good way to browse to my favorite features (would it truly be so hard to have a "features" section so I can watch the latest Up at Noon feature or check out old ones? Altano and Scoville deserve the spotlight!). Please make the app more user-friendly and give us more content!

Agree with other reviews
There are some bugs. I just took a phone call and the sound of the previous video continued to play despite the app closing as the call was received! A bit embarrassing when you hear "finish him" in the background during a personal call!
Also the maturity rating, I feel, needs to be more rigorously monitored and comments screened! I expressed opinion and shared my viewpoint! I then see people passing comment which impacts my overall enjoyment of the app and social experience. This is especially so considering some of the comments placed. I appreciate that my comments lend themselves to critique but it's the content what bugs me.
Also the amount of adverts is immense...I was just watching a top 10 differences between the IT film and the book. While watching this short clip there was an advert after the first difference and halfway through the 7th. I turned it off after that.

Great new user interface, stories/reviews/videos easily accessible
Loving the new design and think it's very accessible and easy to navigate, and the most recent update finally provides support for landscape mode on tablets and phones with the mode available to them.
Still No Horizontal Screen Option!
This app is fine for what it is but what really bothers me is that in the year I've had this app (both on phone and iPad) you still can't move the device from vertical to a horizontal option! This is especially a problem on the iPad because it's annoying to hold it vertically for so long. I just wish you would add this super simple feature IGN! Other than that I've had no issues with this app, and in the time I've had this app they have only improved upon it. So I give it 3 stars until they add a horizontal option to view the app in.

At the moment the app doesn't work so it's a 1. Otherwise it would be a 5 if the app worked
Brilliant
Awesome app! Very helpful if you want to know whether or not you want to purchase a game/film due to the great reviews. It's also very entertaining watching some of their gameplay videos and news shows. I highly recommend it.
All around great except...
Signing into IGN is such a hassle on on iOS that I usually don't bother at all, really needs to be looked at and reworked to be straightforward an not linked with creating a new account. Other than that it's a great app for keeping up to date on the go.
App now crashes
This app used to be great but when I checked it today it crashed on iPad and then my iPhone. Please fix it ASAP
