I was having an extremely stressful morning and needed to rent a car abruptly, and was shocked at how simple they made it for me to get a really great car arranged so quickly and short notice. The LAX shuttle took me over to their location and I was in a gorgeous BMW SUV for a super reasonable price within 40 minutes of landing. I extended the rental because of more life complications and had no issues- Princella helped me get quickly checked out when I dropped the car back off and overall I am just very pleased and happy with my experience(: Will book again for sure !!

Not recommended to rent from Sixt in Norway
Renting a car in Amsterdam and Switzerland was great, but Norway was disappointing. On our third night, the car kept showing an engine oil warning while driving to Skibotn. We had to turn back, wasting one of our four nights. The rental staff said, “It’s fine, it won’t be an issue for a short trip,” but the car was clearly poorly maintained, and we weren’t sure it was safe.

Privacy????
Wants to lookup all your Bluetooth devices, track activities on your phone, know your location and so on. So many things a car rental app shouldn’t be allowed to access.

Amazing customer service
We couldn’t get the car to open and kept getting asked to re enter all the information. We called customer service, got through immediately and the most lovely lady had us all set up within 10 minutes.

My friend booked a car from Sixt in Avalon airport using her name via ZUZUCHE, not with an account of Sixt, not in this app. The booking was confirmed. When we arrived airport, we requested a change of main driver to myself; everything seems ok until we declined buying extra insurance and etc from them, the Sixty guy then told us I was blacklisted by Sixt for unknown reasons so that he could not deliver the car to us and he even could not change the main driver back to my friend who had never had a record with Sixty, but gave me an email address asking me to solve the problem with their customer service by myself.
My friend again placed a new order via ZUZUCHE, but this time the Sixt guy even said that my friend was now blacklisted as well. As when we arrived airport, it was very close to the end of office hour, none of the other car rental is available, this cost us a fortune to grab a taxi to Torquay where we booked our hotel and we had to rent another car in Geelong the next day causing another fortune to spend.
This is the most disgusting company I had ever met. No one should try hiring car from them or using their app. Everyone who had issue with them must use all the way to complain and sue them for its bankruptcy.

Resolved Efficiently and quickly
I rented through Sixt for a trip with my sister to visit relatives throughout England. After abit of confusion about booking at the beginning of out trip, the issues have been resolved effectively and quickly. Thank Sixt for our very enjoyable experience through England.

Horrible customer service!
Flight was delayed 2 hours so we missed our pick up time for our rental! I called ahead in advance to update it to ensure we got our requested vehicle as there was 6 in our group so we couldn’t risk being stuck with a compact when we rented a suv
Their customer service is useless! Just a 3rd party outsourcing company in India who you can’t understand who can’t understand you & that’s had maybe 1 hour of training!
Absolutely a joke! Horrible experience! This was the first time we used Sixt & I guarantee it’ll be the last! They’re not even much cheaper than the established brands (we saved $20 going through them vs Avis or Alamo) next time I’ll pay the $20 extra to avoid this horrible company!
