iComic best comic app out there
I have been using icomic since it was first released as a jail broken app for the iPhone 2g and as soon as it came out in the app store I jumped at buying it. Now that I have an ipad2 icomic is even better and adding files is so much easier now. I had always found adding rars and cbr to be annoying as i had to rezip them to view them. So finally this is solved in this edition. This has always been the first and best comic app for idevices.Show lessfei-jai

More 'image viewer' than actual 'comic reader'...
I grabbed this since it was only 99cents and I read all my comics on my iPhone these days, ComicZeal being my regular reader. Figured this was worth a shot for the price but it's pretty much a dollar wasted if you currently have any other reader installed as it's low on features, low on interface, and only supports cbz by default and it basically just expands it as a .zip file so the packed .jpg images can be viewed one at a time.
I know cbz can easily be changed to cbr but if i gotta do anything manually the app kind of defeats it's own purpose. Spend the few extra bucks and get ComicZeal if you really like reading comics on an iPhone. The conversion process can be a mild pain but it does a great job with the resultant format (cbi) and doesn't chop like this thing does. Cannot connect to it's FTP
I am using windows 7, and I know how to turn this app's FTP on, but after I connected to it's FTP site, I cannot upload any file to it due to some unknown permission error. I am unable to upload my comic files at all. Pretty disappointed.chj915
Best comic app
Required a little patience to setup as the instructions are not within the app itself. Easy to download your own comics into. Highly recommendedNotiontech
Could be better
Most comics are read in PDF or cbr form. To unrar and then upload it as a jpeg in a orderly way can be a pain. The FTP is a great idea but it seems to crash all the time, you can't just walk away thinking that it will be done when you come back. One really annoying thing is that there is no workable bookmark it will not go back to the last page that you read. Otherwise good product and reasonable price. Hopefully the updates will fix all these issues.Show lesssyy96
Very good! But some small bugs.
I love it, but there are some small bugs, FTP things, landscape things. And the Chinese translation should be fixed. Thank you! がんばってお願いします！Xin heart
Please fix the bug
I'm an iphone 4 user with 4.0.2 firmware. After I upgrade to 3.3.4, whenever I hit home button during reading, it will be in landscape mode the next time I open the app to keep reading! There is no way to change it back to portrait mode during the reading again. It will stay landscape forever even if i quit the app and reopen. Please fix!

Update is flawless
The new update support retina clarity and it makes an amazing difference in your ability to read the text. New update also fixes the bookmark save feature. The best comic app in iTunes and you can load your own cbz comic file scans into the program as wellthefunkhunter
