Real estate and property management co is the worst firm a landlord can align themselves too. I have a property in Phoenix ox. The broker Sean Heideman though assured me he would check in on the property never showed up once in 3 years. To further that when asked by me if he had gone by to do this or that he emphatically said ‘yes’ but never showed up. This broker also never knew what was going on. He did not know a tenant whom he found had a bad dishwasher. Sean was told about it but never followed up. And he never told me the owner. Sean was tasked to rent out two studios. 6 month later and with much cajoling he rented out one. The studios were remolded and asking $795. The price was lowered because Sean couldn’t do his job. Lastly he stated he understood how to divide the utilities. As it is a 4 unit but has 2 main circuit boxes. He understood to charge proportionately for the attached unit. He was told this several times. Again he assured he understood. One day a handyman told him the circuit box was defective and not supplying power to the correct unit . He calls me and has a meltdown. Accusing me of cheating the tenant even thought the account is in the tenants name. Of course Sean was fired. Now it has been 70 days since his firing and he still holding on to the tenant’s deposit totaling $5,000.. if you value your property, your future or current tenants well being, and your piece of mind. Stay FAR away from this guy. Far away.
