  • What a shame - very poor

The newspaper is very good but the App is extremely poor. The original App was great but this later App is a very sad reflection of it.
Adverts - I have no problem with adverts but this iteration of the App allows adverts to jump around making it very difficult to read as the wording of the article you are reading quickly disappears to a new location and you end up clicking on an advert.
Refreshing - the App doesn’t refresh very well, you have to quit it and launch it again to see if there are any new stories.
If all Apps were made like this none would ever be downloaded.
I’m very close to deleting it, if it wasn’t for my interest in the latest Utd news it would have been deleted a very long time ago.
This App needs redesigning as the current design is appalling. Please bring out a new App and abandon this design.

Hi and thank you for your feedback, what you are describing is our mobile webpage experience, so it's possible you are viewing an article as a web view inside our app, this can happen sometimes when clicking a link in an article. We are looking at ways to handle those links better, but in the meantime we recommend staying in the apps native articles as much as possible for the best experience. To your second point, we have Pull To Refresh like most news apps, which you can do in the Home Feed and My News Feed. The Reach PLC Apps Team
  • Below Average

The content of this app is the average bit, however what drags it below average is the fact that every time you go back into the app, you have to reset your favourite topics, as the app has wiped anything you saved previously. I only go on to read around four different topics but you have to constantly reset them. Proper pain in the rear!

  • No more swiping between articles?!

So since you launched your “premium” subscription version of the app I lost the ability to swipe between articles nice and quickly. Now I have to read an article and go back to the main feed to read the next one. This is absolute common and best practice for any app and an unbelievable error in user experience.

All so you can accurately see how many articles a reader has viewed so you can limit them and choke them into paying a subscription.

I did pay for premium… and i still can’t swipe. Shocking.

Hi and thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately article swiping is currently not supported in our new architecture, this is due to many technical reasons that would impact greatly on the user experience and performance of the app. We never say never of course, but at this moment in time it's not possible. • Swear this app gets worse

Be warned. You can NOT decline and save the GDPR options to off! It defaults back to on for all!

Every update something changes, and not for the better. I just want to open the app and read all of the days news. I don’t want spamming with adverts, I’m not interested in your premium features to make you even more money, the news tab is now hidden to the far right with no way to adjust it! Puzzles has appeared; I don’t want those either.

Hi there and thank you for your feedback. Our GDPR policy is supplied by Funding Choices and the pop up you get in the app is controlled by them, we have no influence over how that view looks or works. We have also included Apple's App Tracking Transparency tool to further help with your privacy. You will of course still see ad's in our app our they will just not be personalised depending on your choices to the above options. The Reach PLC Apps Team

  • So many updates!

I’ve never used an app that prompts you for some many updates as much as this one! Almost daily. It is so annoying. Get it right developers!!
  • You’ve ruined your app 🤦🏻‍♂️

Version 8.0.2 is awful. The scrolling is labored and slow. Horrible user experience.

The app was fine but today, this “upgrade” is garbage. Fix pronto.

For future issues with the app, please use the in app 'Feedback' option in the My Account tab. • Privacy a joke

I’d been using this app for months without an issue. Then had to tackle the cookie privacy settings. With other apps websites I either reject all or configure the minimum. With this app there’s no option to reject all and attempting to configure the minimum is a joke and nigh on impossible. There’s masses of third party settings and when you disable them and go back they’ve been enabled. I’m not having third parties that I’m. Or familiär with leaving cookies on my device. I’m deleting this app and would advise you to to the same until MEN get there privacy sorted.
