  • New “improved app” difficulty

    I continue to have difficulty with this revised app. A couple of days ago I opened the app and received a notification to click on a button to take me to the App Store to download the new app. I clicked the button, it took me to the App Store where it informed me the app could not be found. The next day my old VectraBank app updated so at least I can get into the app but now I no longer have facial recognition. I only have a personal account with Vectra, no business account so I do not need to reset up my business account as I have read in other reviews. I use several other financial institutions apps and this is by far the most frustrating.

    We apologize for any inconvenience. When you first sign into the updated app, you will need to manually enter your login credentials. After this, you will be able to select to sign in with Biometrics again.   • Vectra can never get things right when it comes to their banking app.

    This newest ‘upgrade’ is a mess. The old app insists on being upgraded, but when you try, it says the ‘app isn’t available in your country or region’.
    So the only way to get it ‘upgraded’ is to remove it from your device and reinstall…sigh.
    Then if you use the app on anything other than your phone, the app is locked in the portrait display mode, making it unusable on your tablet or iPad. Who want’s a cheap looking app displayed sideways when you go to use it?
    Heavy sigh…Hopefully one day Zion/Vectra will get this sorted out and actually ‘upgrade’ to something better.
