Basic version was better
The recent revision of the app has brought a lot of new features, but also a lot of bugs. I preferred the simpler more reliable version. For example, whenever I tap the Recent Playlist button within the Playlist surface, the app crashes.Bill F 666

App has been working great til last few days, when it never gets off "buffering." Deleted/reinstalled and issue persists. Can't tell if app is still monitored/updated_fryingpan_
Not the App’s fault…
In terms of its musical programming KALX is great! It would be one of my favorite free-form stations, except… their sound quality, at least when streaming, is terrible (I’m not in the Bay Area, so I don’t know how their over-the-air quality is). I really hoped this app would make a difference, but not really. The station is so good musically that I can tolerate the poor sound for a while. And this app is nice enough, even if it couldn’t help the sound quality. It is what I will use for playing this station going forward. Play list is easy to use and stays reasonably up to date. somewhat missing the old version
this update is more flashy and colorful; the artwork is interesting too. i love that it's easier to access the current playlist from within the app.
maybe it's just me but i've found it now takes longer to stream - at times i've waited 30+ seconds. not that big of a deal but noticeable. the app crashes often too; yesterday it stopped streaming three times in a row. that's usually when i switch over to my radio or streaming from kalx's website (best reception).
