  • Pretty Good

These jobs can be somewhat fun if you’re bored and need something to do. Or if you’re already in the area and can spare a few mins then why not make an extra few bucks? Some jobs are ridiculous and ask for tons of pictures and ask many questions, but pay very little. Usually if a job has been posted for a while they’ll gradually raise the pay amount. I wish they used PayPal though. Also, it would be nice if after you complete a job that they would put how much the job is going to pay you in the “waiting for approval” que. If you do multiple jobs in a day, it’s hard to keep track of how much money each one pays.

  • It could be a good app but it’s not

These guys will find any reason to reject your submission and not pay you, probably while still using the data you sent them. Unlike other market research apps, this app only gives you the opportunity to submit one picture for each question so if the tiniest bit of a sign is cut-off because the aisles are too small to get a proper angle, well, guess what? Submission denied, time wasted.

Their job search function is also severely lacking. Rather actually searching by keyword, you have to browse through sloppily organized jobs.

Pay is okay for each job, but considering how often they deny submissions for the slightest perceived infraction and because you don’t get paid for ANY of your work if one photo has a tiny bit of signage cut-off (never mind the other photos for the other questions and the other answer work you did), it brings the pay scale down significantly to the “not worth it” category.

Also, it takes forever to get paid. Way too long.

I was really hoping this would be a good app to add to my money-making app lineup, but I’ve been severely disappointed. In my other market research apps, I’ve never had a single denied submission, but in my week of having this one, there have been two for incredibly minor things. Plus, if they just gave you the chance of uploading more than one photo like other apps, there probably wouldn’t have been a single denial (though I’m guessing these guys would find a way).

  • Work doesn’t equal the pay

First let me say the app works very well. Also with some company’s I would just rate how the app works. With this company I believe the review should be as much about how the app works and how well the crowd sourced jobs are. I have used this off and on for 5 plus years. They are good about paying out jobs and getting the money transferred to your account. Based on all of the above it probably should be a 4 star app. Now why I gave it 2 stars. The main reason for using this app is to earn money and the app has changed in 2017, just like a lot of work. Field Agent continues to increase the time and effort to complete a job while reducing the payouts for the jobs. I believe they should have a simple payout formula. The $5 covers a job with 1 picture and 5 questions. After that the job should pay $5 per picture and $5 per 5 questions. Yes it would increase the cost of the jobs. It also would be less than what it would cost to have a full time employee do the jobs and it would help keep companies from requesting unnecessary task as part of the jobs. Just wanted to share my frustrated thoughts. For the short term I will keep the app on my phone but very close to just giving it up.

  • The future of mystery shopping

Compared to completing a mystery shop the more common way, recording notes and entering the details at a later time.... this is so much easier, no pressure to remember little details as you can complete the work as you undertake it.

Many of the jobs however are very generalised and difficult to complete as the researchers have not researched the location, for example taking photos of shelving in a bottle shop that is only 1 isle wide so I would have had to complete the job standing infront of the cashier at the counter.

  • Field Agent Fun

Being a “Field Agent” has been fun making a few dollars while already out shopping or completing tasks at home. I like the short, simple and convenient tasks opposed to more complicated and more detailed ones. The App is user friendly and easy to use with not having any problems or errors occur.
Receiving regular email promotions are a good reminder when I haven’t been on the App for a few days.
Keep up the good work 😊

  • Great app and system

I love the app and it’s by far the most well managed and efficient process I’ve seen for this type of assignment work. But I gave it a 3 star because like some of the reviews before me had mentioned, they DO NOT PAY ENOUGH FOR THE ASSIGNMENTS! It’s actually quite insulting the rate of money they expect us to be okay with. There are some as low as $2-$3 and the assignment could easily take 30-45 mins to complete especially including travel time and gas money to get to the store. Home Depot and Lowe’s jobs pay $3 and they want around 20 pictures and 60 questions answered sometimes. It’s sad actually because myself and many others are desperate for cash so we can’t refuse work even though it’s so obvious that companies are taking advantage of us by not being fair and sticking to equal pay for equal work. These assignments should be at least $10-$20 each one depending on what the requirements are and how many pictures taken. I agree with the reviewer that said they should pay $5 each picture/5 questions answered. These companies are saving so much money by hiring people like us for pennies instead of having a regular worker with benefits and all the good perks that come with permanent jobs. The least they can do is pay us fairly for our time. If Field Agent starts paying us equal pay for equal work, I would give them a 5 star perfect review and recommend to people all the time. Thank you for reading.

  • Avoid this company

They terminated my account saying that I had multiple devices registered, their dumb system thinks that updating the iO/S counts as a new device. Terrible company and terrible app. Support is useless & no help. They maintain a “We are right and You are wrong” mentality.

You may disagree with me for now, just wait...

  • Thieves

Do not waste your time. The jobs are mostly for WalMarts. Many require you to purchase a product. The time for each task is disproportionate to the pay. 30 minutes for a $4.00 or less payout. When you submit your work, they will take up to 2 days to review it. Then they will deny payment because you missed one corner of a photo, or they didn’t like the way you answered a question. I completed a task fairly and honestly that was denied because the support person did not like the way I was phrasing my questions about getting paid. They stuffed me for about 95 miles of driving around for 6 hours for 5 jobs. Then they keep the money in a pool waiting to disburse it as long as possible to keep the interest from the bank on what is called the float. There are other apps that do the same thing much better. I filed a complaint with the federal trade commission on this company.

  • Love it

I can’t say anything bad about this app. I used it a little when I lived in a larger metropolis and worked full time but I have had so many better opportunities to complete audits after moving to a smaller area and not working. This is the best app for making extra cash IMHO. I do wish the SH section wasn’t limited to 21 & up as I had referred my son to it and he can’t see those. The SH is generally impossible but I have had times when I found several after it was updated. I would like to stop seeing ad comparison jobs when those stores aren’t in my area but for now I just hide them along with SH items I have hidden previously. But keep bringing on the audits and item reviews, I love them!!

  • A great way to earn some pocket money

I wish my friend had told me about Field Agent earlier. It’s so easy to earn some extra cash! In my first week I earned over $100. The second week I made another $150!

There’s a variety of tasks and surveys to choose from. It’s completely up to you as to what you feel comfortable doing. The app is well thought out and simple to navigate.

Give it a go. You won’t be disappointed.
