Crashing! Can’t use !

The looper metronome Doesn’t work!
I’ve tried I even purchased the other amplitube app for $25 and both do not give the function of the changing the BPM of the metronome for the looper. The wheel does not show up on my iPhone 13 Pro Max I’m running iOS 16 what’s going on!Bryanrocks123

Been using this app to practice for several years. Thanks for that! Now with iOS 16 update, it’s a train wreck. Sound is like playing out of blown speakers, timing is terribly off, much too fast. Bummer.Mamamalama
iOS 16 problems
All imported aongs play distorted and at increased speeds all by itself. I have to assume this is due to iOS 16 compatibility issues. I checked and tried other cabling but still terrible and unable to use. ITunes music plays fine through same connector so problem is within the app.

Great app- needs to keep on top of iOS updates
I’ve just started to rely on AmpliTube. I didn’t think they’d let an iOS update break their GUI! Right now, with the iOS 16 update, AmpliTube is stuck in the portrait mode while in Live. The controls are mostly unavailable, and so none of the presets can be edited. IK should at least have someone test the iOS beta and make a warning announcement about update problems. I was able to use AmpliTube for my last gig, but was really limited. IK really needs to post an acknowledgment of the problem and a timeline to fix it!Show lessA.McKee
My rig on the go!
Let’s be real, it’s annoying to have to lug around your amps, cabs, and FX everywhere. So why not make it easier on yourself and have it all in an app on your iPhone and/or ipad?
AmpliTube is that solution. This app makes recording and playing on the go so much easier for me. The physical modeling can be easily reflected within the app as all the gear in there sounds like the real deal.

Good Tone, Horrible UI
I know that Amplitube is all about accurate emulation. In that respect, it’s pretty good.
However, as matter of personal taste, I absolutely loathe skeuomorphic interfaces, especially inconsistent ones. What possible place does a tape deck graphic have in a modern mobile app? It just takes up valuable space that could otherwise be used for, you know, actually putting in useful control surfaces. This is just one example.
The developers clearly have conflicting goals:
- Guitarists won’t buy our emulations unless it looks like the real-life gear they are used to using. So, all emulations get a skeuomorphic interface! Yay! And consistency be damned!
- where it’s not an emulation, do something cute like a tape player; or console channel strips! Yeah. They’ll eat that right up!
- Now, use the space left for modern buttons and stuff! It’ll be totally confusing! How do you adjust the metronome volume? You can’t, apparently, without knowing where the metronome signal is being routed; which seems to be nowhere.

Great app one of the best
I don’t know what all these negative reviews are about. I have owned this app for quite awhile I have everything it offers. It looks great sounds great. Love all the extra packages. Only problem is I usually have to unplug my interface from my iPad and then plug it right back in for it to work. I don’t no why but if this helps anyone. Unplug and plug back in from the lightning connector. Also too long in between any updates new sounds for iOS and such. I have both AmpliTube 5 and 4 on my Mac. Also irig keys the irig pads micro monitors the irig 1 irig 2 irig hd irig pro duo 1 st one and the I loud speaker which I LOVE and the I klip stand and adapters. Love it all. I use my iPad more a lot more Otherwise great job.Show lesssex on drugs
Absolutely terrible!
I am at a loss for words. Are you people serious about what you are doing. I am about to throw my phone across the room. It is so temperamental. Nothing intuitive or makes sense. Nevermind having to pay for every mediocre sound you have. Terrible experience. I want my night back. And my $100+ dollars!!!Show lessziggysnuts

i got a bass for my birthday but i hate using amps because they, especially with basses, can shake the ground and are really loud, and since im autistic, i cant deal with loud noise. my father introduced me to this app though, and it works great!
I just wish you were able to close out of the app and still be able to play
since im new to bass, i still have to look at online sheet music for the songs i want to play; i cant really do that if every time i close out of the app, the amp shuts off.
Besides that nit picky little thing, this is an amazing app and i love it dearly!Show lessXhu24
