  • Very useful app

This is a great application for tracking your nutrient intake. I highly recommend this to others who are looking to monitor and improve their kidney health
  • Editing added food

After saving the values for an added food item, the program does not allow you to edit, only to delete.
When selecting portion sizes such as ounce or gram, the program should allow entering multiples. For example, you can only enter 1 ounce, not 4 ounces or 1.76 ounces. Similarly, you can enter 1 gram, not 7 grams or 14 grams.
A lot more food items need to be available. For example, walnuts and cashews but not almonds are available. Dairy milk and soy milk are available but not almond nor rice. The way the program is set up, you can report on what you gave eaten but it doesn't work for entering meals and snacks with appropriate values to guide you in devising a daily menu for future use. Hence, it's utility is very limited.

  • Meh

This app has great potential, but unfortunately missed the mark for me. I would like to be able to add recipes, separate meals, add favorites, scan barcodes, etc. Also, I need to be able to type exact amounts of food, rather than enter a fraction of a serving. Eating for kidney health is complicated enough. If the app doesn't make tracking easier, I'm not likely to use it. If features like my suggestions were added, it might just be an amazing app.

  • Limited database

The app is somewhat useful, but the database is very limited and hasn't been updated in a while. After finding the website for the USDA National Nutrient Database to add all the foods missing from this app, i just now skip the middleman and visit that website instead of using this app.
  • Good but ...

I'm new to managing my diet for kidney disease. This app seems to cover many of the bases, but ...
There are many foods that have to be added. That would not lessen the value for me except that it's impossible to use the nutritional values for a single portion (the food values on the back of the package) because there's no way to indicate how many ounces or how many grams account for the values assigned to a serving. This works both ways. For instance, fresh raw eggs values are given for 1 cup. In order to assess my intake I have to know how many eggs make a cup. (It's not a major fraction.) For the other direction, if I'm entering a portion of an unlisted food that is, say, 36 grams, the only weight label I can find is 1 gram. I'm not about to divide all the values on the package by 36 to enter the food in the data base and then multiply the results by 36 when entering the portion eaten into the diary. Please provide a numerical wheel for each measure. (See LoseIt for a good example.)

  • FANTASTIC APP

I have had this app for about 5 years and it helps me tremendously. It has been a life saver at times when you're out and about at the grocery store and you trying to find out how much of the 3 P's and its sodium content a particular food has.
    Highly recommend this app!
  • Love this app!

This app really helps watch how many fluids I eat and drink. It's super easy to use (and I'm normally not very high tech). Most importantly, I feel that I can trust the information provided. Solid research is behind this app.
  • Love it!

This is exactly what I've been looking for. Extremely easy to use and well thought out. It has all the right pieces for someone really using it every day. I especially like the diary. Definitely recommend this!
