  • helpful on the road

This list of foods and their components is valuable to me because I eat out a lot. It is much easier to figure my intake of phosphorus and potassium, etc. with this app. Thanks very much!
  • WOW

Oh how GREAT!!! adding food and the list is bigger and so much better! Thank you thank you. You don't know how helpful this app is. Most labels don't have all three P's. I don't know what I would do with out it watching my husband diet. Love it, wish I could give you 10 stars!
  • ESRD Patient Reiew

Wish they had more generic optins like, sandwich, or the ability to add a customized item of your own. Also, suprised they do not have anything for Subway Sandwiches as they are one of the largest fast food chains in the world and have more locations in the US than some of the other fast food resteraunts that are included. Overall a good app, but can be improved.

  • Don't waste your money

I should have listened to other reviewers. I figured I ate simple food and use the USDA as a resource so thought this program would work for me. WRONG! Normal food like canned white albacore tuna is not listed. They do have raw, expensive tuna and a whole list of fast food selections (fast food is a definate no no for my food plan). I rated a one star because I am VERY disappointed in purchase.

The PLUS side. Program is easy to use. If I could enter my own food, like in the Fat Secret App, and have it calculate the necessary nutrients, I would rate this app a 5 star.

  • Remove the guesswork!

This app will remove the guesswork from your meal planning, especially when dining out. The ability to log your daily and weekly intake of foods and liquids can then be discussed with your practitioners to determine what works best for you.
  • Diets

I love this app! It helps me make kidney friendly choices. I wish you could add selections yourself that are not included in the list. I wish the would be updates of foodselections

Looks like their are a lot of good features. Red is used to highlight those nutrients that are excessive. I would however like the serving size to go to a regular serving vs 1 oz. I would like to see more hispanic foods offered and if a food is too high in one nutrient have a feature that would show a better choice. Overall I think it will help my younger patients make more informed decisions and hopefully keep them healthier -- longer! Thanks!

  • Very helpful ..... But

I have to echo other comments. We need to be able to enter and store information not available in the food list.
  • Troubleshooting support (Red font)

Any update that is being pushed through by Apple is likely causing your application settings to reset. There hasn't been any change to the application since initial download so I can assure you the 'red font' is still there. If you are no longer seeing the red font, you will need to go back in and enter your 'Physician Recommended Guidelines'.

  • Where is the RED????

When I first downloaded this app it was very helpful for educating my patients, but now the "red" is gone. As it is, a patient might think the potassium level in Wendy's large fries is appropriate to consume....it is greater than 1000!!!!!!!
