  • Did u even test ipod with , oct 24 update not good

New UPDATE Review the last update on Oct 24th just made it very glitchy and its crashing and freezing all the time WARNING TO OTHERS Dont update if you use ipod touch Its really bad !! works like crap now on my ipod touch !!It was running better before i " updated" I hope i have a backup version on itunes cause this isnt good ! Now im gonna lose some really cool work I had made . I just never trust app updates anymore and this one unfortunately validated that for me ! The reachable people did get back to me with an email so I'm pleased with them responding to me , that's a good sign, somebody actually is listening , thank you.

  • Worth the money!

This app is great, downloaded 5 minutes after seeing the hardware version, looked at some tutorials ( not that there are many) and started making music :-) I only have one problem... Why do we only get 2 sequencers :-( and don't listen to anyone who says it crashes its worked great for me iPad 2 iOS 5 :-D

  • The best 10 bucks I ever spent

Reactable Mobile is an amazing musical tool and instrument which will have basically anyone,, regardless of musical ability, crafting cool electronic music in no time. A brilliant interface for the multitouch, so well done by Reactable Systems. They are basically GIVING us the exact same functionality of their $15,000 hardware for 10 bucks!
This app is ridiculous! Get it foo!

  • 4th Gen. device required and still buggy.

Version 1.1.1 crashes the entire iPod hard when trying to download certain tables, e.g. 'Reactable Global Sound'. Others tables, such as 'Fiducial beats' downloaded fine and worked fine; however loading the 'Strange funk' table resulted in a warning "system is too slow" and 'all objects were removed from the table'.

The production description should state that a 4th Generation iPod Touch is required as a minimum - otherwise users with 3rd Generation devices are being ripped off!

User support from Reactable Systems is also pretty awful - due to not being able to use the software I have repeatedly asked for a refund - but my requests are ignored. I was hoping the update might actually get this software usable on a 3rd Generation iPod Touch - but unfortunately still not.

  • Runs like a dead horse on iPhone 3G.

If your app has minimal memory or cpu speed requirements, SAY SO. Looks like a great idea. Too bad it takes a dump as soon as I try to do anything. Modular systems kinda depend on the ability to layer things. We can't all afford an iPad to wank around on, give us old schoolers a break or stop ripping us off. Ten bucks is expensive for a mirage. I tried rebooting and clearing the memory first, but it's as hopeless as a 3rd party candidate. Keep looking and save your lunch money.

  • Sync bug not fix

The beat desynchronize over the time :-( Please fix this bug so we can start using with other apps. Will be 5 stars app when this will be fix.
  • Not too shabby. Nicely done

I like the unique interface and all the possibilities. Being able to lay down my own samples is what kept me from rating 3 stars. Not exactly the most inspiring presets, but it's not about presets.
There is a ton of ways to tweak all the sounds.
With a basic synthesizer understanding you can do a lot. The more I play with it the better I appreciate Reactable on my iPad.

  • Fantastic app

I'm an audio engineer and to be able to virtually experience and use this amazing piece of technology is awesome. Little fiddly at times but with enough practice should be easy. I would highly recommend it to any upcoming dj's or audio engineers to give a better insight into the wonderful world of electronic music :) Top work guys!

  • Facepalm for arbitrary limitations

Really great in so many ways except for only having a max of two of sequences, samples etc. for no real reason. I'm sure we can manage our own memory resources
  • Polyphony issue

I'm unable to get more than one note to play at a time using the polyphonic sequencer to trigger the sampler object (this affects both melodic parts and drum kits). Reactable acknowledged the problem in April and promised a bugfix release… that was over 2 months ago, still no fix? Apart from this issue the software's pretty good, please get this problem sorted out.
