  • Awsome!!

Really really really truly amazing, BUT some of the nobs aren't the same as the actual thing plus they are missing a few (or I just have not discovered them yet) and it does crash pretty often, if your a music lover and creator then this isn't a bad app to get, otherwise if your not then don't bother because this a very complicated app, really hard to get something to sound good at first

  • So! Addicting!

i get lost creating music with this app. the only down is the limitation of trying to do so much on a phone. after awhile the app starts to run slower and the tracks get all staticky. i have to give it a break and come back later. other than that, this is SICK.
  • Fun, educational, addictive!

Thanks to all involved with creating Reactable Mobile. Looking forward to future updates addressing open issues and requests for additional features. My wish list includes file management and at least one more of the following objects - Oscillator, LFO, Sequencer.
  • Great start

Four stars so far, leaving room to award the fifth for later updates. It works well and the ability to upload tables gives us novices a head start courtesy of the experts. It takes time to learn but the features are available once you know what you are looking for.
  • Overpriced and limited

Great concept but very fiddley and inaccurate on iPhone / iPod.
You may only ever place one of each machine down, So only one LFO ever! Experiences slow down with a reasonable amount of devices on the table (on iPhone 4). Also currently has a glaring glitch with save/load, tracking (notes / vol / note on-off) inside the program circles does not save when saving the table. I'm hoping there will be fixes and performance improvements soon as $12 is a lot to pay for an app that Is conceptually good but un-usable for any serious work.

  • Brilliant Adaptation

An amazing mobile adaptation of a fascinating and extremely expensive real-world instrument. Highly intuitive interface and solid support/updates, worth every cent and probably more.
  • Could use a facelift, but brilliant

This app is loads of fun and I can pass a lot of time improvising and toying with it, but I wish you would update the graphics to look a bit sharper on the iPad. I'm on an iPad 2 and some of the lines are quite jagged and pixelated.

A small complaint but it would make me enjoy it even more!
  • Fun and different but needs to be more chunky for the tiny iPhone screen

A different approach to composing, geared towards live performance. BE WARNED: Very fiddly on iPhone and iPod screens, better suited to iPad by far.
  • Superfun!

This app has acually made me start creating music again. I like the presets. they are very useable and tweekable. The more I play around with it the more I discover. Some basic synthesis knowledge is helpfull but I think anyone could have fun with it. Love it!
  • Smashing. But performance...

This is an amazing app. I want to go play it in the tub with headphones on. I've been messing around with a bunch of these interfaces, and this one owns the current title for fun and quick startup.

However, they aren't kidding when they mention system drag. On a first gen iPad, the app has a troubling tendency to flake out - certain modules will just choke and go unresponsive - and i can assure you it's not due to the Byzantine complexity of my "compositions". In point of fact, several of the sample tables on offer cause the same symptoms.

I must be honest, though, my comment is motivated more by hope for some swiftish attention to better system resource management than disappointment in even the present experience. Now if only I could lay hands on a spare $10k for the full reactable live experience...

Seriously, guys, look how lean SUNVOX is...
