App Doesn’t work
I have been working with the Vail IT team for over a week as my EpicMix app doesn’t work. I take them at their word that they are working it as it worked for one fleeting moment on my phone but not my ipad … now nothing. I have suggested on several occasions that we get on the phone to ensure it is not user error on either side … but they have not agreed to do so! I am now thinking that there is a linkage issue with my account on their side.

Worse than before!
UPDATE 12/18: They updated this on 12/15 and it somehow is worse than before. I tried deleting the app and redownloading and now I just get a “😢 no data available” screen with a retry button that doesn’t click. How in the world does a company with as much money as Vail Resorts not have better app developers? This is complete garbage.
It’s comical how hard Vail Resorts is pushing the updated EpicMix app yet it literally does not work. My screens are just blank. This app has progressively gotten worse since I started using it four years ago.Show lessBig Tuna 12
why update to make it worse?
I got the app a few weeks ago and yeah it wasn’t great but it also wasn’t terrible. It did what I needed it to do. Just updated it and now it’s awful! The top and bottom menus are blacked out so you can’t see the navigation icons and makes the UX like we’re running an app that hasn’t been updated since the iPhone 4 era. You have to just randomly tap around the screen and blindly hope it takes you somewhere helpful. It’s also WAY glitchier. you can’t scroll or click on anything without it spazzing. I didn’t have to re-log in every time with the old version either, now I do. Saving log in state is very simple guys. Can you use some of that extra money from this year’s astronomical sales to hire a better developer?Show lesssed6_12:
Detailed stats? Are you kidding?
This app needs an overhaul. The “detailed stats” are a joke. All it does is keep track of lifts that you’ve been on and some math to give you vertical feet. There’s no gps tracking of what runs you’re actually going down, no speed information, and no sharing your location with friends. Compared to IKON app, which I now realize is pretty functional, EpicMix is a huge letdown.
The whole interface is clunky and the “interactive map” is annoying to use. Please update this!Show lessSammysays528
