I use to love it not so much now

So I’ve been using the myCadillac app for about three years now, since I purchased my vehicle and I have to say initially I loved the app. initially, you can see your driving score i.e. hard breaking, fast acceleration you know really useful metrics to help you be a better driver but in the last year or so they have slowly removed key features that make the app worth $40 a month now it’s only purpose is to remote start from the app or check your fuel levels. In my opinion, it’s really not worth the price plus they’re planning an increase in January, which is really making me not want to pay for the app at all. Were they to bring back these key features i.e. driving metrics, vehicle location history. I would love to continue to use the app. But at this point idk if it’s worth it. Kinda like a waste of money tbh. 2021 XT4.

Nice look, slow response.

The app looks nice, but it’s very slow. The start button often fails on the first try, along with the other commands.

The Charge Management feature is also very subpar. You can’t change the charge level or start charging, or change the schedule through the app. You have to go out to you car to do these. You have to set up charging alerts to either come through via text or email, and do not notify you through the app directly. The app is mediocre at best.

This is where I’d argue that Tesla has them beat - their app is great and gives you more control over the features of the car.

add red line to open windows

missing open windows and car unlock below millage in app

Charge status finally works with my LYRIQ!

There was a period of time where the app would only display the charge status from the last time that you logged in.

I’m happy to report that this issue has been resolved (for me at least)!

With that fixed everything seems to work well.

Does not update and remote start

I have to offload the app and reload the app again everyday to make my car remote start in morning , it just works 1 time by giving signal to vehicle after installing . Please find a fix asap ,

Bug bug bug and very poor

For an electric car you would presume it will have more fonctions than gaz car but no the same really disappointed!!! And its soooo slow

Schedule Starting

MyCadillac app needs to have “scheduled starts”. Since we pay for the app.

Very poor support

I can understand that when you bring a new app to the market or even a new version of it, the app might have bugs. The problem I have with this refresh of the recharge status on my Lyriq that is not working, is that it takes for ever to fix..
I am very unhappy with GM response time to address and fix application problems….

App is terrible

Lyriq owner and for EV owners this app is a hot mess. It never syncs with my car and will not update current charge level or activity. Only fix so far is to log out and back in, which is a pain given that it insists on 2fa through your email.

Onstar support is a waste of time as they can never fix the issue.

GM/chevy needs to revamp this app given the growth of the EV population.

Lyriq Owner

When is this app going to be fixed? Can’t refresh the app without logging out and logging back in. With two factor authentication that is a cumbersome process. Wasn’t like this 6 months ago. Fix whatever you changed or roll it back. Enough is enough!!!!
